  1. There were wanting a walk, but there wasn't one. Just a nice take by Middleton.
  2. Mason has got to keep Elliott off the offensive glass to have a chance.
  3. Referees let an obvious charge on Knipp go... Huge no call.
  4. Elliott has picked up the defensive pressure and Mason looks very uncomfortable offensively.
  5. The guy doing the game on TV actually just said that the Faulkners are pretty interchangeable in the guard spots.... They are twins you know...
  6. Middleton just asked out of the game... maybe the pace is getting to him.
  7. Cody has the offensive skills to be a very good player. He has good hands and touch, and has good back to the basket moves. Continuing to gain strength and mobility will determine how good of a player he will become. It's so hard to project big men a young age, but some in our area think Cody is a D1 type player. Personally, I think it's way to early to tell. Continuing to improve your game and physical tools is what makes good players great. Cody has to look no further than former Dorton player Elisha Justice to see that.
  8. Like most young big men Cody needs to add weight and strength, but he has good hands and nice skills around the basket. He put up big numbers in junior high this season with numerous triple doubles.
  9. Shelby Valley has a 6'8" 7th grader in it's feeder system at Dorton that could be a pretty nice player in 2 or 3 years...
  10. Hatfield led the way with 19. Adams and Justice both added 15.
  11. I hear ya. Besides, Belfry is used to this type of situation in football... only they are on the other side...
  12. Not at all. SV's starters didn't play at all in the 4th, and I think only one of the top 3 bench players was in there. Belfry continued to push the ball which stretched the margin of victory. The score was 28-13 after one, 57-30 at the half, and 87-34 after three. 13 players scored for SV...
  13. Elisha Justice led the way with 19 and Ashley Hatfield had 18. The starters didn't see the floor in the 4th.
