According to khsaa.org: Mason County holds 5,400 Montgomery County holds 4,200 I'm sure both gyms could squeeze more people in but the fire marshall may have something to say about that.

I think the argument that the tournament should be at Mason County everyear because it holds more people than Montgomery is not a valid one. The super bowl isn't held at the largest venue every single year, nor is the NCAA football title game or basketball game, or the SEC basketball tournament, etc. The fair way to do it is to either rotate or play on a neutral court every year.

Agreed, I watched the Cov Cath/ Elliott game and Cov Cath is a little better. I really like Elliott but they have zero quality wins.

I just noticed UHA isn't in there. That is crazy! Wins over #16 Adair and #18 Madison Central along with one of their 3 losses going to #7 Male by 2 points. A blowout of Tates Creek at Tates Creek didn't hurt either. Hopson and Edmonson are two great players on a quality team.

Looks pretty good compared to how it has been in past years. I don't think Madison Central's wins and losses so far warrant a #18 ranking. I also think that is why Clark is ranked in this poll because Central is rated too high and Clark beat Central in OT (also I know it doesn't have anything to do with rankings but as an aside Central was without Aaron Morris). Dunbar and Shelby Valley should be top 10 teams based on what they have done so far. Why is Desales rated so high? Also Scott County should be a little lower.

No one has mentioned J-town? Undefeated agaisnt KY competition which includes wins over Madison Central, Tilghman, and Shelby Valley. I think the top 4 in alpha order are Bryan Station, J-town, Lex Cath, and Mason Co.

The other is freshman guard Ryan Fucci. The kid dropped 19 on the Indians and received the star of the game award. He is going to be an awfully good ballplayer. I would even put him up there with Stenzel from GRC.

His name is on the roster in every program I have seen this year. I assumed he would be back when he is healthy, could be wrong though.

I agree, Brandon is a great defender. He did a very good job on Stenzel Friday night.

I agree Tates Creek is better they are a really talented team with at least two legit D-1 prospects.

First of all Tates Creek is a very good team. They lost to Mason by single digits and played UHA even through 3 quarters. Also their guys were on fire shooting. Spalding was 8 for 8 and some of the shots were three's. Second, starter Kaleb Curtis has been out all season with a broken hand and the guys taking his place in the starting lineup (Cody Curtis) sat out the second half because of injury. The Indians were only trailing by 3 at halftime. I believe the Indians will get better as they are learning a completely new system this year and they have guys who have only have a few weeks of practice because the Indians made the second round of the football playoffs.

Hey is an excellent shooter who really helped in the win vs/ Clark County. Also look out for Josh Clark on the inside for the Indians. Solid Player.

Oh I just read the post about Rogers being a freshman. Yeah he played well.

I heard on the radio that Stephens and Clark combined for 31 points. Stephens also had 14 boards. Cody Curtis had 3 3's and 11 points. The Indians finished 13 of 29 from the foul line (I think I know it was bad). Brandon Rash did a great job on Robbie Stenzel who scored only 2 points combined in quarters 2 and 3 (he finished with 14). PG Blaine Stull even helped out on the boards I remember him getting at least 4. Indians were missing starter Caleb Curtis who has not played yet this season with a broken hand. They also had Josh Clark and Cody Curtis on the bench the entire second quarter with two fouls. Indians never trailed, led by as much as 15 and held on for the win. GRC seemed to be forcing things a bit, especially Miller. Stenzel is obviously a great player he was the only one who had success driving. I heard another freshman got a good deal of playing time for GRC, which one was the freshman?

Elliott is a legit top 10 team in KY.

Is Simpson hurt? If so when will he be back? Is the Morris injury serious?
