WOW!!! ECHS is the team to beat in the sixteenth. Will anyone play within thirty of the Lions.

Obviously they had a huge lead before the fourth quarter. When did EC take their starters out????

The dogs were called off in this game pretty quick. This could have easily been a 60-70 point win for Elliott. I would venture to say Boyd County had around 30 turnovers. There is no better full court pressure defense in the state compared to Elliott County's defense.

My 2 Nephews were picked up by Elliott County earlier in the week to start playing the second halves of the games for them, due to so many blowouts lately. Maybe this will give the other teams a chance now. I have posted a picture of them so everyone will know who they are:

Ugh, that's ugly. I guess this one DID end up like the West Carter game. If you dont have excellent guard play, it's nearly impossible to beat the EC Lions.

Julio had 2 pts, 1 steal and one layup while going thru Selby's legs and taking it to the rack.

 

Gomez had 4 pts, 8 rebounds (Selby blocked him 8 straight times, it was recorded as a rebound) and one double chin.

I really don't think that anyone will play with Elliott County in the 16th region this year. But you can bet that I will be there to watch the Elliott\Mason County game.
