Without that fire/demotion our defense is still really bad and this isn’t a playoff team, that’s a fact. We still don’t have a legit win if we’re being honest. I was wrong about saying OSU had no chance unless they changed their defense. It’s nice to see teams not scoring on the same running play 3 times in a row, it’s nice not seeing our middle linebacker trying to cover Devonta Smith, it’s odd how our D is better after Coombs got demoted/fired. I still think the D has a lot to prove with multiple top 5 to 15 team upcoming. It’s hard/rare to fix problems mid-season unless the problem was extremely bad. It usually takes an off-season to fix.

The OSU offense and the Georgia defense is the definition of perfection.

That sounds right to me. OSU needs to beat IU decisively tonight. OSU also gets a crack at 2 top 15 teams potentially in Michigan State and the other Michigan. If they run the table OSU will have major recency bias on their side. Oklahoma will likely finally get beat, UC is competing with Bama and whoever the B10 winner is. UC has no margin for anymore close games in my opinion.

This is where I’m at, they cannot fall to #4 or they will likely get leaped.

Yet James Franklin will still be rumored for every major coaching opening nationally.

That’s beginning to become the problem if UC is #4 but #5 and #6 would be -14 vs. UC, will they hold number #4? UC is 14-21 points better than everyone left on their schedule, but they have to live up to it.

I’m not picking on UC, I don’t think any playoff team should be within one score of a 1-6 Navy team, or really any 1-6 team.

UC was a 28 point favorite, they need decisive wins. A big win over an overrated ND team isn’t an automatic bid. The talking heads are gonna pile on this week.

Navy is 1-6, UC might be a double digit dog to anyone other than Oklahoma amongst the playoff teams. This one is frustrating.

Sounds like a very bad situation. I don’t know if it can be reversed. My buddy is trying to fill 3 spots in rural northern KY, where they rarely have a violent incident. I can’t imagine what the city departments are facing. I guess the details are what created this topic.
