Unfortunately, the media does. 

If I had to select a CFP today, I'm going with Georgia, Bama against UC and Ohio State in the two semi finals.

Nope, absolutely not. Even if they win out, as of now I don't think they belong in the CFP. They may get in, but they have been on the struggle bus every week.
