It wasn't a foul because they didn't call it a foul. The UG player tried to pull up and the UK player took a little contact and flopped like Shane Battier used to. The rule sited by cshs81 I would say that if the ref saw it that way it wasn't a foul. UK lost get over it, The play call was weak anyway, maybe if they played Friday night the ref would have called it.

Good for Ryle High School and the community. The gift from the Borland family is impressive, it is also impressive to raise 100,000 in less than a month. I believe sythetic fields are the best route for high schools and the community surrounding the schools because they allow for so much use.

I just wanted to say WOW about this Holmes team I thought With all Dixie's seniors they would keep it close, but Holmes is way to good for them. You were right and I was wrong. I will be pulling for Holmes. They are the best team from the 9th I have seen in years

Funny and probably the play that most Highlands bashers like most, Except Dudley and Lynn who wish it was made a few weeks earlier.

I was at that game and if I remember right they probably would have beat Dixie in the regional if Jefferson didn't get a T. I realize Holmes is the better team but the better team does not always win. I think Dixie which has a lot of seniors will play tougher in a loose and your career is over game than people are giving them credit for. I am not saying they will win, I just expect a closer game than 15 points.

And if ST. H plays like they did against Boone, and CCH plays like they did against Boone CCH will be run out of the gym. (or maybe did Boone have something to do with that)

Are you sure using this logic Holmes already beat CCH twice so we wouldn't need to play the finals either.

After reading this thread and the Holmes Dixie thread why are we even playing the semi-final round we could just play the finals and tell St. Henry look you lost to Cov. Cath. by 23 and Dixie Holmes could have named the score on you. So it is not possible for you to win and if it makes you feel better Dixie gets 3rd place because they beat St. Henry in the regular season.

I agree with DHHS, Dixie may not win but with all the seniors they have I believe they will go down with a fight. I hope Dixie wins because I like rooting for the underdog, but of course I know they will not win because, Holmes already beat them this year (by 15 points without anyone playing for them and it could have been worse) and no one ever has lost to a team in the regular season then beat them in the post season.

I believe a simple answer is Skinner's daughter goes to Villa and not Bellevue.

Being good at one sport does not make you a good Football player.

This is why Site Based councils were created. But if a school is hiring the person as a teacher and a coach the people who have a degree in education might know a little more about the persons abilities in that aspect than someone not trained in education. After all a High School's job is to educate students not win Football games. It is great when you do both.
