Now that all 3 levels of Highlands & Ryle have played...
Actually, the last four Ryle freshman teams went: 2-7, 8-1, 7-3, 3-0??

Ryle 20 Highlands 13 (Frosh)
I totally agree with you. Future is bright in union.

Ryle 20 Highlands 13 (Frosh)
Running backs for Ryle#24 Tanner Pulice- #44 Travis Pavy both are freshman . Pulice converted qb to running back, Pavy fb last year doing both tb/fb this season. A very nice 1,2 combo for Ryle.

Ryle 20 Highlands 13 (Frosh)
To me ramming it down there throats all game means butt whipping. It was a real good game played by both sides. The score doesn't tell the whole story all the time, so rather it was 1 point or 7 . The better team won tonight .

Ryle 20 Highlands 13 (Frosh)
IMO the Highlands recievers didn't drop passes just because of a off night,or couldn't catch a cold . About at least 3 or 4 times they got popped real hard by the Ryle defense which caused them to drop the passes. McCoy looked better running the ball than passing, he floated way to many passes. In closing they really got a good old butt whipping tonight. Good luck Ryle 3-0 keep it up.

Ryle 28 CovCath 27 (Frosh)
Just to correct you Ryle's kicker kick a 41 yd. FG . And I agree with you that was the difference in the game. Well played game by both teams tonight. Both programs have very bright future.

Cooper/Scott Predictions
Cooper 35 Scott 14. Cooper running game looked real good against a much faster Shawnee team.

Boone County/Grant County/Harrison County Scrimmage
I see you forgot about the other Boone Co. school. Ryle who scrimmaged a very good Dixie team and beat them. So don't think the district title will land back in Florence this year. Maybe try and pencil that one in.

2009 Cooper
FB Matt Rudd and TB Devonte Bradley. Both showing decent speed and agility. Matt Rudd at fb. is running with alot of power up the middle when he carries for short yardage. Bradley showing good foot work inside and outside. But sometimes he carries the rock too loose, which I hope will not be his downfall.:taz:

2009 Cooper
After watching the intra- squad scrimmage last sat. they looked well organized , alot better than last year. defense was moving to the ball alot better than last year ,and showing more agression . Offense looked better, last season when they made mistakes the kind of kept snow balling, but I was impressed that when they did make misstakes they didnt let it bother them, and moved forward with the next play. all and all I believe they will be better prepared and more competitive this season.

Highlands Spring Football
Is that a rule by the khsaa? I was lead to believe that incoming freshman are considered middle schoolers still, and were not able to be envolved with spring practice. If this allowed by khsaa, please tell me where I can see the rules on this. thanks:sssh:

2009 Cooper
IF they can find them a decent qb., I feel they could be better with ball control. They still will be very young on both sides of the ball, but with alot of them gaining valuable varsity experience , and with a favorable non district schedule, I think they could be 500 this season.:dancingpa

Helmet Decals... Please Help!!!
The Dixie helmet is silver with a red facemask, A white stripe down the middle with smaller red ones on each side of the white. The decal resembles the one on Prestonsburg helmet but with the interlocking DH in white with black trim around the white.

D1 Players from N. Ky.
What about Josh Connors. Did breaking his leg really hurt his chances? IMO he is good enough for d1 consideration.

Trinity Banquet
Yes I agree it is a honor to keep winning those rings . It's also a honorfor the players to win them for their school. So the school should help pay for them . THE school is the one that reeks the benefits of the program being so great.

Trinity Banquet
I couldn't say better myself, I just think they should help some. And for buying the extra medals, I would bet they cost less than ten dollars apiece for them . alot cheaper than helping with the rings. Just doesn't seem right to me to give the whole expense to the parents.

Trinity Banquet
I'll say it again , I am not trying to make anyone mad , it is just my opinion! I understand that would be a big expense for any school public or private. But they might be able to use some of the money from gates to maybe offset the cost . I imagine all of your home games were sold, so maybe a small portion could be used to help out in the cost.

2009 Dixie Heights
Oh it is quite fine, and yes Stegner is quite tall as well, but he also plays baseball along with Stansberry.

Trinity Banquet
Sorry I wasn't trying to upset anyone, I was just expressing my opinion about them. To me it cost the parents enough money in team fees and spirit wear for their boys just to play . And they put alot of hard work and sacrifice so much all year to play and I just feel the program or school should show them respect and appreciation by providing them for your fine yuong gentlemen. I know it is a honor for you parents to get them for them ,and you should be commended for doing so , but this is just my opinion that is all. Sorry if I offended anyone.
-
Trinity Banquet
IMO you wuold think the school or the football program would or should buy them for the players?
-
Trinity Banquet
What do you mean not free. Does the parents have to buy them for the players . (just wondering ).
