The tight games PC has played all year showed by the way they calmly took over with just under 2mins left from their own 10 and drove for the winning score. You could tell they were prepared for that situation. No panic! Just played football! this team is clicking right now!

Pulaski had just too much offense for Whitley to handle. Eastham went for 436 through the air! He torched Whitley's defense all night. His favorite receiver on the night, as has been the case all year, was the open receiver. This kid is the real deal! BIG win for PC! Looking forward to a Region final next week!

So, the Superintendent for Pulaski County schools, which Southwestern is also in, doesn't seem to be on the up and up? That's how it was found. Mr. Eaton got a look at the water bill and it was discovered there was a leak in the line. It has been fixed and the field will be ready for Friday. Call up Central Office and express your "concern" about the situation. Any more sour apples in your bushel basket you have been crying about since PC whipped SW? The field will be fast Friday. Gonna be a great game.

FACT PC went to Rock and put 47 points up on them(with a "backup" Quarterback) Who, by the way, lit Rock up!!!!! FACT Rock could not stop Pulaski and it is absolutely killing jericho! He can only bash and degrade a very good team that beat his team! As far as scheduling Belfry and Bell; Belfry is over 4 hours away from Pulaski. Who would schedule a regular season, non-district game that far away? Bell, a little closer, but still a looong way to travel for a regular season, non-district game. Don't know how your school system works, but Coach Hines would never be aloud to schedule non-district games that far away. I don't think there is a school anywhere in this state that would pay for a team to travel 4 hours away from home to play a game that doesn't mean anything. Pulaski has battled back from several injuries to become the best team in school history. Several dumped dirt on them early on, but PC bowed up and proved everyone wrong! No matter what happens Friday night these kids have fought their hearts out this year and deserve the respect of a District Champion! They have been slapped in the face over and over! (weak schedule, weak district...) Seems to me a team is good(Rock), until they get beat by PC, then it's "well, it's a down year"... Now, I see see why Coach Hines and the Maroons have a chip on their shoulder.

A water leak in the sprinkler system was found earlier in the week. But, no rain has fallen on the field. The visitors side from the 30 yard line in is pretty soft because of the water line leak. If you think that is the worst you have ever seen, you sure don't get out much. Keep believing the field was muddy because PC was scared of SW's speed. That is fine with the Maroons. Since PC's field is sooo bad maybe they can use SW's. It's not being used for a while.

Once again, you speak of what you know nothing of! Does it REALLY hurt you that bad that Pulaski gave your Rock a 2+ TD cushion before crushing their hearts?:cry: Look at the radar, no rain at PC High School. UH... What rain are you speaking of? Don't know where you are, but no rain here. No rain in over a week. The field will be just fine. That field is no worse than anyone else's field this time of year. It will be a fast track for both teams. Should be a great game.

Didn't that matchup have several players tossed for a fight the first time around? Should be a great game.

Not only did Eastham have a great game throwing the ball, he was smart in his decision making. Pulaski dominated early, and by halftime seemed to let up. Perry came out in the second half and put up a fight, cutting it to 28-21. Then, for some unexplained reason, Perry kicked it deep to RC White!! Not a smart move! Even though Pulaski only had 10 players on the field, White put the game out of reach with the kick return TD. Some were saying last week that Perry was a little faster than Pulaski position for position. That could not be further from what went on Friday night. Pulaski showed they were faster at just about every position, especially with RC White, Steve McQueen, and Alex Abner. On a side note... It was great to see Brian Barnett back on the field after missing almost 2 full seasons due to injury! Just another weapon the Maroons get back for this Friday night.

We played well last night. Just seemed to have too many weapons for PCC to handle, the Pulaski defense was good for most of the game. Those who predicted a 4 seed upset for this game have to give Pulaski their props. And oh yeah, I am ready for how PC has no chance in the next round too.

Not really. They did lose Eastham for most of the 2nd half with a head injury. Abner was running QB, and had not played QB since middle school. It was a combo of turnovers and penalties that did in the Maroons that night. Just a weird night.

It's shaping up to be a track meet at Pulaski Friday night. Could be an Arena game break out. These are the types of games I love to watch!

Boy oh boy, lose a game to PC, on your home field no doubt, and it's trash, trash, trash! I notice you failed to put the all powerful Rock on that list of PC's non-district opponents. PC may not be good enough to beat Boyle or Bell, but they are good enough to win a district title... and beat Rock. The SW/ Harlan County game will be over in a hurry, that's for sure. With both teams predominately running the football, the clock will run. Could be under an hour 1/2. Should be a great one though.

"If people are saying that Pulaski offered Lincoln a game last Friday, then that isn't much of or a fair alternative, I mean they would still be forfeiting a game and would have to pay a forfeit fee of probably $4,000 to break the contract." That is a hard decision to make, but do you forfeit a district game, with a trip to the playoffs on the line, or a game that means nothing in grand scheme of things? We have beat this thing to death! It was not, is not, or ever will be Pulaski's problem to fit in a team who can not play on the date scheduled. Quit whining and complaining!!!! It happened a month ago. Are we going to postpone the playoffs to get that game in? NO! And, I still think SW will be too much for Harlan County. It goes back to the speed thing. SW has more of it than the Black Bears. Will be a great game though!

Unless HC has gotten a lot faster, I see SW winning again. Too much team speed, and Turpin is throwing the ball well. SW 34-20.

PC will be to much for Mercer tonight. The field has been covered up to save what they can of it. Hopefully the rain will stay away. I'll go with PC 42-Mercer 18.

We can argue back and forth all day, about the better team. On that night it was North Laurel. Congrats to them. Too bad they couldn't get into the playoffs so we could see the rematch. So, I guess PC is the better team. They will be playing football on November 6th.

SW is so good, it shouldn't matter who they get. As long as they aren't held, or get messed over by the refs. That defense can stop ANY running game. No problem for the Warriors!
