  1. Last I checked this is a regional final, not a state championship. You play the games for a reason. In single elimination anything can happen. Trinity could be crippled with injuries over the next 3 weeks, you just never know. Until they win it they've not won it.
  2. Long bus ride for LCA, decent team in Leslie. LCA can go home and start planning for next year. Leslie 34 LCA 21
  3. Hope he does well, always warms my heart to hear about cancer survivors.
  4. Any school who doesn't bring more than 10 fans to the game should have parents that are ashamed. It's pathetic if the parents won't show up to support the kids.
  5. I expected Leslie to win this one comfortably, looks like they did. Good job!
  6. Neither are better or worse than the others. In ky football, it's usually obvious who the best 2 or 3 teams are in the state and the rest of the top 10 to 15 can be almost interchangeable. It is also hard to judge a lot of the 6-4, 7-3, and 8-2 teams on polar opposite ends of the state in any direction.
  7. Leslie County will win this one easier than people think. Middlesboro is way down and I saw their middle school team twice this year, there isn't much on the way right now. LC 42 Mboro 20
  8. McCreary Central and North Laurel did not make it.
  9. So how would you do it? Surely you can't just make it the team with the best record, then you would encourage 4a teams to load their schedule up with terrible 1a teams out of district.
  10. Bell's is pretty high now Corbin's was in the high 40's until they lost to Bell a few weeks ago.
  11. You leave out the part that Rock beat Russell, and thus it's a 3 way tie. Russell could easily complain just as much if Knox won it.
  12. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this win guarantee Bracken County their first winning season in school history? If so big time congrats!!!!!!!
  13. I do know he also played basketball, was told that's why he quit. Now whether or not he is practicing with the basketball team now I have no idea.
  14. Clay's QB quit a few weeks ago and their best receiver broke his arm. They still wouldn't have been very competitive in this game, but that makes it even harder.
  15. Middlesboro is not the program they were 15 years ago. Somerset will have a running clock.
  16. Give us some geographic hints on the teams that remain be it western ky, eastern, northern etc... As was already stated there is no rhyme or reason to the teams on this list so it's hard to figure out.
  17. Lucy isn't going to take move the ball this time because I have it in my hands.
  18. This has actually been driving me nuts to the point I'm looking up random teams on KHSAA's website to try and figure this out.
  19. More importantly I'm curious where these kinds of stats come from, I know they are accurate because you can look them up on KHSAA, but who sat down and figured all this up?
  20. Williamsburg is one not sure about who the other would be.
  21. Running clock in this one.
  22. If they started doing this on any consistent basis, it would just fuel the fire to separate public and private schools.
  23. At what point should Highlands start taking knees in this one? How much is too much to win by I guess is the question?
  24. Should be on 107.3 if you are in or around Corbin.
