  1. Depending on how Lanter does in the camps and on the season I could see him getting D1 attention from teams like WKU.
  2. He was a huge impact last season as a freshman. He's going to continue to get better and that's scary.
  3. I have a feeling Reed Lanter is going to go off this season. He was absolutely tore up after that shut out loss to Corbin and I know he took that loss very personal. It wouldn't surprise me if Colwick and Smith both accounted for 1,000 yards a piece this season with Lanter throwing the ball. I also look for Bartleson to have a huge impact on offense this season. His role hasn't been primarily offense the last few seasons. However, he played most of the season injured last year and we never got to see him at his full potential. Reese Smith is going to be Reese Smith. He is one of the top overall athletes in the state and now that he has his commitment with West Virginia he doesn't have alot to worry about other than getting better. I look for another special season for him. If Boyle County stays healthy then I really like their chances of going 15-0. They had some really young players step up last season when the veteran players got hurt and that experience can only help. They have a really tough schedule but I think they get the job done.
  4. I remember that play well. One of the only players I ever saw to juke Brad Cloud. I also remember that game being one of the coldest games I've attended.
  5. Belfry was on my list for years and I finally got to see their venue this past season. It did not disappoint. Excellent venue! My list in no particular order: 1.) Ashland 2.) Trinity 3.) Covington Catholic 4.) Pikeville 5.) Franklin-Simpson
  6. I also mailed them a trophy. You just never know what can happen on a Friday night.
  7. I agree. He has a history of winning. This job will be no different. Good luck to Larry French!
  8. Boyle County going from the bottom to the top for 5 consecutive state championships (99-03) including 6 consecutive trips to the state championship (99-04). Chuck Smith and those runs made the program what it is today.
  9. 1.) Louisville Male 2.) South Warren 3.) Covington Catholic Both South Warren and Covington Catholic make a great argument but I'd take a healthy Louisville Male anyday.
  10. I can't wait to see what this young man does next season while piling up more scholarship offers!
  11. I'm pulling for the Redhounds but I believe Central gets the W.
  12. Not sure what you are expecting? I'm a Boyle County fan through and through.
  13. Throw that in with half dozen turnovers and you probably will lose.
