  1. Boyle County has 795 yards rushing as a team. In 3 games they are averaging 265 yards per game. Rees MacShara is the leading rusher for Boyle County with a total of 482 yards in those 3 games with 7 td's. The interesting stat is that he's averaging 10.5 yards per carry!
  2. I'll go ahead and do the honor of listing 10 more I suppose. Match the nicknames to these 10 teams. Beechwood - Boyle County - Dixie Heights - Fort Campbell - John Hardin - Nelson County - Pleasure Ridge Park - Seneca - Taylor County- Western Hills -
  3. Apollo - Eagles Christian County - Colonels East Jessamine - Jaguars Fleming County - Panthers Graves County - Eagles Grayson County - Cougars Jeffersontown - Chargers Paul Dunbar - Bulldogs Phelps - Hornets Woodford County - Yellowjackets I'm not 100% on a couple of them, are they right?
  4. The Advocate Messenger website has an article about the game. Mainly about avenging another loss from the 2007 season. They lost to Danville and Henry last year before beating them this season and they get a chance to avenge Lafayette. Check it out. Interesting Stat: Rees MacShara has rushed for 482 yards and 7 TD's this season while averaging 10.5 yards a carry.
  5. Boyle County always has a decent kicker so they usually always kick the extra point.
  6. I can't wait for basketball myself! Duke will be a good team because they always are. I can't wait to see those UK Wildcats play. Man it gets me pumped up just thinking about! I love college basketball! :ylsuper:
  7. Congrats to the Cards! The ground game obviously won this game for them.
  8. I agree! It'll definitely be a war and IMO I think it's almost too tough to call. I'll take GRC but I'll be rooting for Danville!
  9. Hasn't Daniel thrown more TD's than incompletions this season? I know it's still early in the season and that stat will change once he starts going through the tougher teams of the Big 12 but I think Daniel is a stud and with him leading the Heisman hunt right now it'd be hard for alot of people NOT to choose him. I think he'll finish with the Heisman and the best QB award. Tim Tebow is a good overall QB because he can do so much with his arm AND his legs. Mark Sanchez only showed me one game. Bradford is an outstanding QB with the sky being the limit. The Max Hall from BYU has proven himself as a very good QB. There are alot of great quarterbacks this season so this is a very good argument! :thumb:
  10. Looking forward to watching this one! I think UofL will pull it out.
  11. Chase Daniel is by far the best QB in the country right now!
  12. I agree! However, we both mentioned that the 2 Lexington Catholic losses have came from two really outstanding teams. Really hard to tell at this point but like you said, we'll get the answer for sure next weeked! :thumb:
  13. BGP's moved Boyle County up to 2nd in the 4A rankings above Lexington Catholic. I think this is a reasonable move because Boyle County has demolished some worthy opponents. However, Lexington Catholic was beaten badly by two GREAT teams(that Indiana team and St. X of course) but then again they are still a very talented team. Bell County is very deserving of the #1 until proven other wise and we'll get to see the #2 vs. #3 next week. Saying that, Boyle can not afford to overlook Lafayette this week because they are a dangerous team at times. What's everybodies opinion on this move?
  14. Congrats to Mike Hartline! IMO I think he should look for T.C. Drake more often because he is a really good tight end.
  15. The two teams that get to the National Championship every year are usually almost always the two best consistent teams for just that year. USC does usually prevail in big games but if they can't win in the "non" big games then they will never deserve to be in the National Championship game without the playoff system. I don't agree that USC would have won 6 or the last 7, with the playoff system, and that's because of the SEC has been so darn tough.
  16. Boyle wins this with this one with their great D and run game! The only way Boyle will lose this season is if a team is very successful in their passing game because Boyle isn't giving up hardly anything on the ground. I think most people would agree with that statement.
  17. I'd like to note that the Boyle/Danville game took over 90% of those votes for this weeks game of the week. :thumb:
  18. Very good articles! :thumb: My favorite was, "Where you from? Boyle County. Oh Danville? No I'm from Boyle County!"
  19. I heard that Lamar Dawson was really hard to take down last year playing in those games as a running back! Why don't they use him as a running back on varsity this year? He is a sophmore starting at linebacker and is even seeing lots of time as the backup tight end. JMO but I wouldn't mind seeing them hand the ball off to him a couple of times as a running back but it's whatever works, right?
