Did Mike Murphy graduate from Highlands? I know he coached with Homer Rice and Owen Hauck, but I read an article he won a state pole vault championship with Holmes. Since the start of state championship play, the only true non Highlands guy brought in was Duffy. And they politely asked him to leave. Interesting, I also read they asked Herrman if he would like to resign after he won his first title. Highlands is a tough place to coach. Everyone else either graduated from Highlands or were long time assistants.

He is a Highlands guy, but do you think he is coaching the way Duffy coached him? Or do you think he does his own thing? BW graduated with Coach Wolfe and as soon as he graduated college, went to work for Highlands. BW is a Highlands guy through and through. Coach Wolfe has won at a few different schools.

Well, Coach Wolfe hasn't been a Highlands guy since 1990. I would say he has his own way of doing things and the proof is what he is doing at Male.

And, I was joking about the field house. But the attitude definitely needs to change from the top down. The coaches, parents, students,community and players should all be held responsible. It is definitely a different culture. If, what you are doing is working, then there would be no complaining. But if you are changing things and not changing other things, and it's not getting better, there is a problem.

It hasn't been one loss. I think it is the 15 losses over the last 3 years. And part of the culture that has changed is "One loss to an opponent HHS wasn't going to beat anyway". When was the last time you have heard that phrase from from a Highlands fan in ever. But by all means, let's assume Highlands is going to lose to quality opponents and rush the field when they beat Campbell County.

And the new weight room has to be a factor. Back in the day, it was in the depths of darkness with some old, rusty weights. I blame it all on the new fieldhouse. They need to go back to their inner Rocky and start working out with hunks of frozen beef.

Exactly, it shows how far the program has fallen in a short time. This would be the equivalent of Kentucky basketball rushing the court in the last 40 years. I understand it's a win in OT, but Highlands used to be disappointed if they didn't win state. They don't even count regional titles. So, rushing the field for a win against Campbell County, who has only beaten them once in how many decades, is kind of disheartening if I was a Highlands fan. Maybe I am completely off base.

Eventing is an equestrian sport. They call it the triathlon of horse sports. It has 3 phases, dressage, stadium jumping and what sets it apart is the third phase of cross country. They gallop across the country side over solid jumps trying to make time and no jumping penalties.

Undercards start at 9. There are four fights. But I assume anytime is the main event at the Compound. But maybe I'm confused What time is Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor? | SI.com It says the four pay per view fights start at 9, Maine event around 11. But FS1 showing undercards at 7.
