The resolution now goes to the full House for a vote. Julian Tackett, commissioner of the KHSAA, said several studies have been conducted on Kentucky middle school athletics during the past 25 years on issues ranging from governance to health and safety. Oversight, financial transparency for event promoters and coaching qualifications "are very important to the schools of this state," Tackett said.

Don't middle schools already have all the positions you referenced?
March 29, 201214 yr This is all over Middle School football and their "state championship." Incorrect as this bill is about all middle school athletics. Wrestling has a state championship. Basketball has a state championship tournament.
