Michelle Obama on yet another vacation

Wow, it must be nice to spend tax money on vacations all of the time, especially since the majority of Americans won't be able to afford one this year. I guess she is proud of America now.

Airlines, hotels, and gas stations do not agree that most cannot afford a vacation.

Most folks can afford a vacation, but lets keep things in perspective. "Most" goes out the window when you start talking MULTIPLE vacations a year to places such as Hawaii for 17 days and luxurious ski trips to Aspen. I agree with the most can afford it, until it went past one week to Fla for 3 days at Disneyworld and 3 days on the beach.

Does she pay for the airline, cost of secret service, extra security. If she does then I have no problem with it. But sh edoesnt and right now in the shape America is in, now is not the time to vacation AGAIN, she just got back from one. Maybe this is her way at getting America back for not being good.

I could care less either way, but let me assume then that most of you have no limit on what IS too much or too many. Or what is a waste of expense as far as these vacations? Seriously, is it just wide open for as many as she wants? Or is it totally okay no matter what? Again, I can go on a vacation myself and I don't really care what anybody else does. Just trying to figure out where everybody is on this.

The Hawaii Reporter writes that the President and First Lady's separate trips to Hawaii (Michelle and the girls arrived Friday; check out photos of President Obama arriving last year here) as well as the extended stay of the vacation will cost American tax payers nearly $4 million, roughly $2.5 million more than the President's 2010 trip.
