Agree that Donovan should have a big year. He's certainly going to have a lot of options to throw or hand off to and it sounds like the O-line will shape up rather nicely. Can't wait to see the show.

I wonder what the other Highlands qb thinks about that?

Same as any other top athlete trying to win a position for a top program.

I agree Bir and Barker top of the list in NKY, I was trying to say as much as Holy Cross throws the ball and by evidence of Arlinghaus at Lou and Fuller who will play somewhere at next level, whoever is H.C qb will put up stats and get college looks. Who is going to be Scott QB next year? Are they going to be improved ??

I thought Arlinghaus decided not to play college football?

He is a preferred walk-on at UL. Ran the scout team this past season. Loves it.

SK's Brenan Kuntz has already added a good 15 pounds to his 6'2 frame. Hopefully soon as basketball season is over he will add another 10 pounds by August and be 190 pounds. He already has a real strong arm the added weight will help him when he runs up the middle and trucks some Linebackers! I think he will catch some D1 schools eyes at some camps over the summer. One thing Kuntz has that the other QBs don't have his a great QB helping teach him everything he knows. Chad Lawrence has helped him the past and will most probably help him this summer. I wouldn't be surprised if Kuntz becomes SK's best career passer his Senior year. But for now I think Bir and Barker are rated higher at the start of the season but at the end Kuntz will the top QB in NKY and hopefully get down to state to face Trinity!

Other than maybe a few coaches I've watched both Blake Bir and Drew Barker more than 99.99% of the people.

They are neck and neck with different strengths and weaknesses. I'd take either.

Agree. They are the top two IMO.

Ben Osborne will be the Eagles Qb. He'll be a JR, and started the last few games for Scott last year. He was a little in over his head, but has a great arm, throws a nice ball and has improved as a runner. He has a lot of upside.

The new complex at Scott is very impressive. Hopefully Campbell can build that program. Is everything finished yet with their additions ??

I know its not exactly Northern Ky, but right down AA Highway, Bracken Co. has a really nice young QB. Sophomore Cole McClain

led the Polar Bears to their first ever winning season. He rushed for almost 1400 yards, and threw for like 975 yards. He rushed for 20 something TD's and threw another 10 TD's. This kid is a great athlete. He had 4 interceptions, and returned a couple punts for TD's. And he is only a sophomore.

Probably still thinking about the 22 points he dropped on New Cath the other night. :D Oops, sorry, wrong sport.

Drew Barker is just an amazing all-around athlete. Outstanding QB and remarkable basketball player, too. WOW!

Easy, hoops. Let's keep this at a mature level of discussion.

Thread is about outstanding QBs, right? If something is out of place I would like to ask the moderators to remove my comment.
