SK's Brenan Kuntz has already added a good 15 pounds to his 6'2 frame. Hopefully soon as basketball season is over he will add another 10 pounds by August and be 190 pounds. He already has a real strong arm the added weight will help him when he runs up the middle and trucks some Linebackers! I think he will catch some D1 schools eyes at some camps over the summer. One thing Kuntz has that the other QBs don't have his a great QB helping teach him everything he knows. Chad Lawrence has helped him the past and will most probably help him this summer. I wouldn't be surprised if Kuntz becomes SK's best career passer his Senior year. But for now I think Bir and Barker are rated higher at the start of the season but at the end Kuntz will the top QB in NKY and hopefully get down to state to face Trinity![/quote

If you want to see what colleges are looking for today at the qb position you just need to watch Towles and Barker play against each other on the court. Both play the 5 because of their thickness. 5s didnt play qb in the old days.

Barker is a Big kid, is there any video on him as i doubt I will ever venture to a Cougar game bit would like to see him in action.

Exactly, Houliston is a great athlete and may Still get some snaps in most games. Remember, most games aré blowouts and he took a ton of snaps this past season due to this. With McCoy's experience at Wr they could move him to the slot sometimes and Bring Drew in just to throw teams off a little.

No offense to Kuntz, he will continue to improve and be a good QB, but putting him in the same sentence with Lawrence is ridiculous. And if I am not mistaken I think Highlands has a former UK and NFL QB helping them out. Appreicate your enthusiasm, but unrealistic expectations make it difficult to live up to.

i believe after watching every sk game this past season for kuntz to make a leap in to the top 5 of qb's in nky the offensive line has to perform cause this past season they prolly couldnt block anyone i mean anyone. It was almost too bad to watch some games. The kid has a good arm no dobut about that just gotta have time to throw the ball cause at times last year when he had a little time he made good throws but when protection broke down which was alot he had to scrammable out of the pocket even thou recievers were open he couldnt throw cause he had to avoid the sack. I just hope the o-line gets it together this season cause if not its just going to be like last year all over again

If I remember, Lawrence didn't become the starter until week 8 of the season. I think with Chad as the starter SK was something like 25 and 5.
