TV Series That I Miss

Featured Replies

Not talking about the ones I can easily find channel surfing. Some of the classics are still accessible - Andy, Lucy, MASH, etc. Here are a few that I wish were still around without having to go buy a DVD set.

Monty Python's Flying Circus

MST3000

Northern Exposure

All in the Family

Star Trek (original)

St. Elsewhere

Taxi

Mary Tyler Moore Show

Carol Burnett Show

Picket Fences

Evening Shade

Get SMART

No sense in listing them all. What are some of yours?

Glad I was not the lone innocent person that watched that show. I thought it was terrible but never missed an episode.

I always thought night court was hilarious.

Really good list. I'd add "White Shadow" to that although I did stumble across it last night on ESPN Classic.

If there was nothing else to it (and there was), that sweet, sweet saxophone theme would be enough.

It amazes me that Oz never got the credit it deserves. Besides being an excellent show without it there would be no Sopranos, Dexter, True Blood, etc.

Boy Meets World

Saved by the Bell

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Wonder Years

Wow, HT...you & I watch the same stuff! :thumb:

Monty Python's Flying Circus

MST3000

I actually bit the bullet and bought Monty Python's complete series. Worth every penny. I watch them ALL THE TIME.

On the second, I absolutely agree. Netflix streams a few of them but not nearly enough.

Boy Meets World

Saved by the Bell

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Wonder Years

Boy Meets World - Never really liked the show.

Saved by the Bell - I do miss watching this show. It's probably been a year since I've caught an entire episode, though I think it MAY come on in the mornings. I might have to look when I get home and DVR some.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air - Comes on all the time on both ABC Family and TBS. I'll often DVR a week's worth of episodes to give me something to casually watch in my "bored time". I do this with several shows, two others being The Andy Griffith Show and That '70's Show.

Wonder Years - Now this is a show I haven't seen in a really long time. But boy was it good. Unfortunately to my knowledge it does not come on in syndication which is a shame...

I figured some of them might still be on some channels but it's been a long time since I have seen an episode of any of them anywhere.
