Dre Kilpatrick was arrested a few nights ago. Apparently a rep from Under Armor was out with him and bought some weed. Pulled over. Both were buzzed.

I read about this earlier. (Should be Kirkpatrick) Over a quarter of an ounce was found. I can't imagine the rep would bring something along that Dre didn't want. Even if he wasn't reported to have been on some type of drug, I think we could all have put 2 and 2 together.

Lets face it....Tons and Tons of Professional athletes smoke Marijuana. I have heard so many legit stories about NFL players, the NBA has always been a dope smoking league an MLB also. Im not condoning it but it is all over the place.

The weed is not the issue. The issue is the Under Armor rep being in the car w/ him isn't it. By the way, it's time to legalize the stuff. How can cigarettes be ok and not weed? I don't smoke either, so as unbiased, I don't see the difference.

Ex Bama Player, he is a Junior who is NFL bound. I commented on this two days ago in another thread. Lot of Bama folks are not happy. The guy he was with was also an Ex Bama player who got pulled over for driving the wrong way. Dog sniffing caught them. Nothing good comes from this stuff just like driving drunk I'd say. 20 grams was found and his bail was $120.00

Ehhh......I smoked and I still can't do front flips in the end zone or swim like a shark after a seal. Must of been the quality not the quantity.

Yeah, you are right. I meant to say he has an agent and no longer goes to class. But he is a good kid and will do very well. I'm just glad no one got hurt they were on the wrong side of the road, now I never have smoked anything, (except at the table tennis table) but can that stuff make you feel where you cannot handle a car?

Everyone that I know who smoke and drove said they drove slower but they said they never felt like they couldn't control a car. They all agreed that the few times they drove drunk was a tremendous mistake and that they were fortunate no one was hurt. When they drove after smoking weed only they felt more cautious likely due to the feeling of paranoia that weed causes. Either way it isn't smart to drive after smoking. Despite their feelings of being more cautious they are still less aware of what is going on around them and their reaction is markedly slower. Not a good idea at all.
