That is true. We are quickly reminded about Joe Namath, Kenny Stabler and the rest when discussing where they went to school. You can't shy away from a Tide player when they screw up....it's only fair.

Everyone that I know who smoke and drove said they drove slower but they said they never felt like they couldn't control a car. They all agreed that the few times they drove drunk was a tremendous mistake and that they were fortunate no one was hurt. When they drove after smoking weed only they felt more cautious likely due to the feeling of paranoia that weed causes. Either way it isn't smart to drive after smoking. Despite their feelings of being more cautious they are still less aware of what is going on around them and their reaction is markedly slower. Not a good idea at all.

Well Joe Namath was suspended his Junior year and missed a couple of games and a major Bowl. He came back his Senior year but it was close. The Snake was also suspended his same year and missed some games. He even went home and wasn't coming back.

 

When all Sin and fall short, but in the thread I didn't want it seem like it was a current player, and it was a kid who has left for the NFL. Joe and Snake were still active, and I have more I can give, but no need to.

I believe it. My friends all said they would never do it again and they haven't. Just not smart at all.

The weed is not the issue. The issue is the Under Armor rep being in the car w/ him isn't it. By the way, it's time to legalize the stuff. How can cigarettes be ok and not weed? I don't smoke either, so as unbiased, I don't see the difference.

The only problem I have with weed is people smoking and driving though.
