I know Tyler Black is hurt but when he comes back he is a top 5 player in the region.

Since we're re-evaluating the 10th Region teams, I thought we could take a look at the top ten players in the 10th thus far.

Move Prewitt to #1, Fatkin to 2 and Monroe to 5 and I think you got it. Although I think the 5-10 then could be replaced by a few of your honorable mentions but all in all a good list.

There is no way there are four players in the region better than Monroe.

I've got to say Joe Jennings needs to be in the top 10 in the region.

Monroe does not trash talk.

He did get a little frustrated last night, the coach did a great job of recognizing it and pulled him for a quick visit to the pine. He does normally keep that calm look. He is used to high pressure situations and handles them pretty well.

I will go with

1. Prewitt

2. McGovney

3. Stenzel

4. Monroe

5-10 is a toss up.

 

I think Prewitt and McGovney are close. McGovney is averaging 23pts a game and about 5 boards. He also seems to have that clutch factor. Great free throw shooter as well. Monroe is great but I might question his consistency in scoring.

How many games has #7 played this year? Are these rankings on potential or production on the current season?

Good question. Production on the current season should have Bishop Brossart's Joe Jennings and Montgomery County's Brandon Fruth ahead of any player from Paris.

Jacobs from Paris, when he is eligible, is a very good talent, not very many better than him in the region. However, his ability to stay on the floor is hurting him.

I think some on here are making judgements on what they read without seeing these kids play. I have seen all of these boys play this year with the exception of McGovney. Its hard to do this because of the different roles they play for their teams. I think the the best 2 big boys in the region that I have seen is Fadkin from Clark and Ford from Harrison. I dont think Jacobs has played enough to base a judgement on but I do know he can play. My pick of the guards would be Stenzel fron Clark and Monroe from Pendleton. Prewitt from Montgomery is probably the most complete player meaning having the ability to play different positions. I'm sure that the McGovney is a very good ballplayer(from what I have read). I think its hard to put a 1,2,3 on players as being the best because of the different roles they play. When and if Black gets back from Mason Co he will one of the better players also. Just my opinion!

I have not seen many teams in person this year, but I have followed the season very closely. I would rank Bopper #1. He is the best player, on the best team. Does anyone know what colleges might be recruiting him?
