December 31, 201114 yr The worst officiated game I have seen in some time. They ruined the flow off the game. I feel like I have been cheated. I'd get my money back if I were you.
December 31, 201114 yr I pay no attention to that. But I think Hammertime said the spread was 10. UK up 13 with 5 seconds to go and Russ Smith hit a bank shot 3 pointer. Then UK turns it over on the inbounds play and UL hits another shot at the buzzer. And people bet on basketball games. :ohbrother: :idunno: Yep, and lamb got tackled on the inbounds pass which set up the last 3
December 31, 201114 yr UL may have won if Siva would have dished it back outside to Kuric instead of throwing up wild shots.Pitino has an eye for highly skilled PGs that baffle you to no end. You cant decide if they are good or terrible. Made for an easy transition going from Edgar Sosa to Siva.
December 31, 201114 yr Behanan, Buckles and Swopshire continue to prove they are posers. I thought the defense on Kuric won it, along with an awful, awful basketball game by Peyton Siva.Yeah I sort of hated seeing Behanan, Buckles, and Swopshire get in to foul trouble
December 31, 201114 yr Atrocious officiating. Why does Tony Greene call this game every year? The ten second call on UK was the biggest crock I have ever witnessed. The refs made themselves the focal point and that's where they failed. UK so much the better team.
December 31, 201114 yr There are two UK teams. One is when Davis is on the court, the other is when he is off the court. He played all 20 minutes in the second half, and UL was unable to go on any type of spurt. UL was at 5 second half field goals until garbage time. UK is every bit as thin with depth as they were last season. Davis is the most important piece to controlling the other team on the defensive end. UL came in with an excellent game plan and forced UK in to a lot of terrible turnovers. The refs were bad for both teams. Relative to the amount of players that played for each team, each were deep in foul trouble early in the first half. Many can point to the UK FTs, but they won the game on the boards. +21. That is domination. I thought Jones grabbed a lot of "man boards" and I was pleased with his performance despite not being able to shoot yet because of his finger. Anyone else know he had 11 boards? MKG. Nothing else to say.
December 31, 201114 yr Louisville is coached to be just one big foul-fest. They don't really go after the ball, they go after arms, legs, body, etc. I guess their theory is if you continuly foul that the refs can't call all of them. It certainly takes away from the game and makes it ugly. Hard to watch that type of basketball. Pitino didn't coach defense that way when he was at UK, what I call dirty defense.
December 31, 201114 yr Behanan: "If I didn't get in foul trouble it would have been a whole different game."
December 31, 201114 yr Behanan: "If I didn't get in foul trouble it would have been a whole different game." Yeah, right big fella. Need to go back to your laboratory CB.
December 31, 201114 yr Behanan: "If I didn't get in foul trouble it would have been a whole different game." He's funny...
December 31, 201114 yr Author Behanan: "If I didn't get in foul trouble it would have been a whole different game." Coming from the guy that guaranteed an undefeated season.

The refs made themselves the focal point and that's where they failed. UK so much the better team. UK really did get screwed on the 10 second call. Lamb was trying to call time out multiple times and the refs couldn't see it. If the refs can't see a player with the ball trying to call a timeout how are they supposed to be able to tell if he gets fouled....
December 31, 201114 yr Those 2 three's at the end had to really tick some people off. No doubt, and made another group of people very happy.
