February 20, 201214 yr What about JR Smith coming in after no practice and doing what he does from deep? First time I've seen Lin and he's pretty good, I just wish the press wouldn't continue to talk about him every waking minute of the day. It will be very interesting to see how Carmelo fits into the equation since they seem to be pretty fluent without him offensively. If the Knicks lose when Carmelo comes back it's going to unfairly be Carmelo's fault.

It is pretty wild to think he pretty much walked into Madison Square Garden and played 30 minutes and shot 16 shots(second most on the team). It is the same old JR though. :lol:

I didn't really say it was special but to score 15 in your first game with no practice is a pretty nice feat. He's a streak shooter but you can't tell me this wasn't a good addition for Knicks.

That was so dumb all I could do was laugh. Who thought that was a good idea? There is a double standard for racism in this country.

February 20, 201214 yr Yeah, they'll win it. The whole Westbrook dynamic still bothers me. He is talented, sure. But I am not a fan of score first, high volume shooting PGs. He wants to be the man on the team where it needs to be Durant. There are few rules that apply in the NBA when it comes to finding the consistent element of winning a title (eg. dominating big man, slashing wingman, etc.), but someone name me a score first, high volume shooting PG that has delivered a team a title? Iverson made it to the finals once, and they had no shot.

February 20, 201214 yr ESPN fired the person responsible for the headline. They also suspended an ESPN News anchor 30 days for saying it while interviewing your avatar. I am not sure of the level of guilt for the anchor compared to the headline on the website. That is a pretty common phrase for people to say which is why I just believe they did the month long suspension they had to do whether they believed it was warranted. More of a damage control type move.
