December 27, 201114 yr Rubio has a nice debut... Lakers and Mavs both start off the season 0-2. Can't tell much from about the Lakers until Bynum gets back but it's not looking good.
December 27, 201114 yr Some quick thoughts. - From what I read, Boogie Cousins looked really good last night. - Rondo is playing with a chip on his shoulder. BIG season coming up for him. - New York will be fun to watch. - The Heat are the early, odds on favorite. Barely got to catch any of the game due to Xmas activities, but hope to soon. - I'll state the obvious, Dallas is NOT going to repeat. - Could be a very LLLOOOOOONNNNNGGGG 66 games for LAL barring a trade or Bynum emerging as a force all season long. But even those shouldn't solve all their problems.
December 27, 201114 yr Author Nope. It sure isn't. I don't think getting Howard will help either. D-Fish is just brutal on both ends of the court. He has no business playing more than 12 minutes a game. The have no other player that can create their own shot. Gasol needs to go asap. I makes me really sad to see it all crumbling down like this at the end of Kobe's career.

He looked about the same as last season to me. He had a decent game. He took advantage of of some serious mismatches he won't normally have. The Heat are going to win it all easily IMO.
