I'm seriously considering getting off FB. It's chao and I hate it.

Lots of people have been.

So this is an additional app or whatever it is called that you have to add? Not something you are automatically stuck with?

I am with you. I am at least considering shutting my down for a while and starting back over from scratch.

I took it to be optional for now, but in the future it will become mandatory.
Why would anyone want to add this?
They are looking for a way out of their relationship.

I'm leaning towards this.

Can you even delete facebook anymore? From my understanding, if you remove your account then log into it again in the future it will reappear, fully restored. It's like we're living in the Matrix.

I assume you could with an alternate email.

I like it. I like it a lot. I get to go back and look at some great conversations from the past. I have only done it from my phone so I don't think I have seen all I can see yet. Of course my Facebook profile is set to public so I really don't care who sees my profile. I've told many people if you don't like what I say then delete me. No sweat off my back. It's just Facebook.

It's almost as if the best course was to never get on Facebook at all.

You know, not to pat myself on the back.......

I don't recall ever putting anything on Facebook that I regret putting on Facebook...
