May 7, 201214 yr Apparently Timeline is taking over on May 7th. I think Facebook and I may be breaking up in a week... I am such an idiot. So is this official? I clicked on my fb page earlier and nothing was different. One of my friends profiles had it and I was just taking a look at it. At the top it mentioned something on her page about trying out timeline so I thought I would take a gander. Well, looks like that was all it took for my profile to be readjusted. Says I have one week to review before it becomes official. I tried backcliking and everything else to no avail. Guess I am in.

May 7, 201214 yr I made that mistake a few months back Bugatti. No way to change it back. It was not even like a preview or anything. I clicked a button on someone else's page and boom. As I said, I can get adjusted to it. It is no different when any website like BGP and people assume the world will end but I can adapt. The privacy settings are the only thing I want to make sure are the same. Is there still a way to view what my profile looks like to other people? I just logged off and hoping it goes away.

Well Facebook automatically "previewed" my page to me as Timeline, although apparently it appeared the old way to anyone else who looked at it. It had a button that said "Learn More About Timeline" which is where my May 7th reference was taken from. I actually noticed this morning that one of my friends' pages is still the old version, so I'm not really sure...Facebook is headquartered in Menlo Park, California, where they still have over 12 hours left of May 7th.
May 8, 201214 yr Timeline doesn't bother me at all on a PC. I don't like the layout for mobile, however.
May 9, 201214 yr At about 10:00pm last night I was still without it, hopefully it stays that way. Same here
