In BGP league, I got:

Rice @ SD-must start

Hillis@ARZ- think I'm gonna start him due to the favorable matchup and he appears to be getting healthy

Just don't know whether to go

Jacobs Vs WAS- he blew up last week but Bradshaw is back and should cut into his carries.

OR

Kevin Smith @ OAK- when he's healthy he's a horse, but who knows? I'm hoping they'll rest him this week cause if I make it out of this week I'm gonna need him 100% in the championship...

Kevin Smith was a horse - against Carolina. Oakland doesn't have the world's greatest rushing defense either, but let's not make too much out of that game. He had more yards in that game than the other three he's played in combined. While I think the type of game Jacobs had was equivalent to seeing a double rainbow, I think I'd trust him more than Mr. Injury Prone Kevin Smith.

Foster and Bush, those two are no doubters for the RBs. Likewise, I don't think you can bench Colston or Megatron, despite Megatron's struggles of late.

I don't love either of your other matchups from the RBs. Mathews has rushed for 100+ in three straight games, but that was Denver, Jacksonville, and Buffalo. I expect him to have more of a game like he did against Chicago, which wasn't good. And McGahee has been the same way, running wild on poor rushing defenses and then not so great against good ones. New England's rushing defense is actually pretty good, while their passing defense is terrible. And you can bet they'll try to make Tebow throw. If it were me, I go 2 RBs and use all three of your WRs.

My other flex options would be Pettigrew, or ( we play defensive players) Pat Angerer who scored 14 points ;ast week, but has a gimpy knee

Pick 2:

Ryan Matthews vs. BAL

LaGarrette Blount vs. DAL

Ryan Grant @ KC

Marion Barber vs. SEA

Pick 2

Austin Miles

Julio Jones

Brandon Marshall

I'll give it a shot. I would sit Rice. Dude is wearing down and will be needed for the Ravens' playoff march. I don't care if Smith is hurt or not, even if he doesn't play he's good enough to score you some points. I would check your leagues waiver wire, you may be able to pick up a RB like Mcgahee, Gore or Wells. Good luck to you.

No way you sit Rice. I don't see him as wearing down at all. He's rushed for 411 yards in his last four games with 4 TDs. Remove the outliers (59 yards against San Francisco w/ no TDs and 204 yards against Cleveland with 1 TD), and Rice still had 207 yards with 3 TDs on 46 rushes. This is in fact his best 4 game stretch of the year with three 100+ games.

Alex Smith vs Pitt

Tj Yates vs Carolina

Sanchez vs Philly only QB currently on my roster.

I started the year with Shaub, so obviously I'm behind the 8ball now.

10 Team League (2 BGP posters, "Thanks for your donation guys" LOL)

Gates was a waiver wire pickup after the owner grew frustrated with him.

Not that it makes any difference, but I have Rivers, so would you still go with Graham over Gates?

Yes. Graham all day.

Yates has the best match up and he looks to know what he is doing even without Andre Johnson. JMO.

I am starting Yates in the Toilet Bowl finals.

Pick 3:

Blount

Gore

Sproles

Grant

Grant, Sproles, Blount. I wouldn't think anyone can run on Pitt. Can they?

Pick 2:

Ryan Matthews vs. BAL

LaGarrette Blount vs. DAL

Grant and Blount.

I'm having a really hard time with my RB and WR decisions this week.

Pick 1 - Michael Bush (vs. Detroit) or Shonn Greene (at Philadelphia)

Pick 2 - Mike Wallace (at San Francisco), Dez Bryant (at Tampa Bay), Victor Cruz (vs. Washington)

The RB question is only a question because of how well Greene has been running lately. Philly doesn't have a great rushing defense, but neither does Detroit. I think Bush will get the larger workload. When I submitted my lineup on Sunday, I had Greene penciled in, but I'm starting to think it should be Bush.

The WR question has been a question for weeks now. Ever since I've picked up Cruz, he's been this blight that I couldn't make myself start. Well, I started him last week, over Wallace, and that worked out as Dez did better than both of them (thanks to one loooong TD) and Cruz and Wallace were equivalent. I had both Julio Jones and Nate Washington who did better, but no way I start either of them. This week, I currently have Bryant and Cruz going. I know I'm playing with fire if I bench Wallace, but I don't really like an injured Big Ben throwing to him. Once he got hurt the other day, I don't think Wallace had a single catch.

What say you?

RB- Bush. He's been the more consistent of the two and even when Oakland gets behind they will still run. I think the Jets will trail Philly and Greene won't get as many touches.
