Let's take a stretch in reality and say Tebow has a clone who has had the exact upbringing, faith, actions, openness, etc. and these two are pitted against each other in a football game. Who does God choose to be the winner? By assuming that God is favoring Timmy up-to-the point of causing the fumble, isn't it fair to ask why Tim? Is he the only one devout enough to get God to tune into the NFL?

 

Also, what happens to this notion of "God favoring Tebow" when he loses?

Why are people so engulfed in trying to discredit Tebow or his faith?

 

He's the QB for the Broncos and they've been winning since he took over. Why does their have to be a reason for it? If he wants to give God the credit for it, why does that bother so many? People keep talking about the media hype, etc. fueling the "Tebowmania", well don't listen or watch it, if it offends you (general you).

I fail to see how it has on my part. But it definitely seems that when presented with a logical counter-point the pro-Tebow side goes the "take my ball and go home" route. But that's just my viewpoint.

I agree 100% and do almost everything in my power to avoid it aside of BGP. But I do like to watch sports related programming and the incessant Tebow coverage does make it hard to compeltely avoid.

There is no logic behind, "he chooses whomever he wants to choose". So how can someone still play?

^ They've been debating what the bigger story is--Tebow or the Packers? While I have enjoyed what Tebow has done, the Packers story is much more historical from my vantage point.
