QUOTE=raiderbird;4228664]What are you smoking??

I don't smoke, but I saw Mr. Wright play in 11 of his 14 games this season against the strongest schedule any team in Ky has ever played and his stats are remarkable. The one game I saw of Mr. Towles in person, he clearly was the second best QB on the field that night. That is my opinion.

Ouch!

I am glad you have love for one of your own... I will be very surprised if Wright gets a D1 scholarship to play qb.. Towles made it to the Elite 11 qb competition for the best qb's in the country.. It's not even close in my opinion..Towles makes very good decisions and has all of the intangables of a great qb...size, speed, athleticism etc..With all of the talent around Wright it is like playing in a 7 on 7 competition for him..Wright is a very good hs qb but not on Towles level..

Ouch is right. He doesn't realize that Towles didn't play in most of their games after halftime. Probably the same for Sheehan. And Cohorn's stats are him only playing 8 games this year at reciever.

How many HS QB's threw for 41 TD's and 1 interception in a season ? Anybody ?

I know coach Marksberry seemed very excited to be coaching in this game. He said last season's game in the snow was great.

I like that one. Ouch! You might want to check that stat on a national high school level.

Hoosierbirdfan... are you having deja-vu? Here I was trying to spread the love too. Both great kids, both getting measured for rings, both would gladly be the wingman for the other one. We should spend our time arguing over more important things... like Ginger or Mary Ann?

I know of one who had 47 (I think) td's, and 1 int...but that was WAY back in '02.

I have never seen Towles play, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as being the best. He seems to fit the role. That being said, Travis will have plenty of D1 schools to choose from.

Haven't seen all the rosters but I have to assume at least 1 of Trinity's O lineman made it? They were something else and were often overshadowed by the skill players. It would be a shame if they were shut out.

How tall is he??

6'1" ish

What part of "in my opinion " did you not understand.

We are blessed having multiple "great" QB's in our state .

Read the second line in post #10 ! What more can I say !!! I'm not arguing , just posted PT's passing stats , quit reading something into my post that isn't there !! Wasn't trying to degrade your guy in any shape or form.

I'm on the phone now trying to contact the Manning brothers about their HS records !! I hope they don't take offence and send their body guards out to get me .

Wow this thread is off-topic.

No kidding....."way off" is an understatement.

Ok - Highland Backers - we get it. Your guy is the best. Now, will you lighten up a bit. Please.
