Oklahoma State 44 Oklahoma 10

The Cowboys made their statement, now they can only wait. I did not see this result coming. I would have expected this type of blowout the other way around if it was going to be one.

All season long I've wanted OK St/LSU. Hope it happens!

Sooners are weak they also lost to Texas Tech. I saw your comment about Bama being worried, we are not. Fiesta bound Oklahoma State. A decent team but let one slip away and it hurt them.

Many scenarios come in to play now. Yes, the LSU/Alabama game was as close as it could be, but Alabama had their chance at home. Oklahoma State was very impressive tonight and may have done enough to sway enough of the vote their way, but is the loss to Iowa State still going to leave a bitter taste? Or is this a week even with their season being over that hurts 'Bama finishing their regular season last week? It's going to be interesting to say in the least and believe that the Cowboys may have done enough. We will see though, regardless of the bowl selection turnout, should be entertaining.

If you can tell me honestly that you would not have rather Oklahoma State lost, then I will believe you are 100% not worried. You know from my past statements that I don't think they'll jump Alabama, but this was the result they needed to make it even in question. Not just a win, dominance.

Not gonna lie to you but I was hoping for a Sooner blow out.

But I realize with the Sooners losing to Texas Tech and losing their wide out they would not be the same Sooner team we are use to seeing, so why would Bama suffer because the Sooners are down and Iowa State still looms in people who vote mind. Everyone I heard tonite and I saw said Bama/LSU.

If the BCS says the Cowboys play in New Orleans on January 9th, I'll accept that and wait for our bowl game. But, I will not think its fair and will disagree with the selection. Not one time since the BCS has started has two teams from the same conference played in the final game, so now its time. And I see us winning the game.

It will be very interesting, in my opinion, to now see what voters think about that loss. There may have been some that initially thought they weren't that top-notch type, and hence the loss. But now...could there maybe be a change in some thinking that the emotions surrounding that particular game may have played a part?

I know this won't go over well with Tide fans...but, I've already seen LSU-Alabama once. The Cowboys have at least piqued my interest into the "what if".

I would like to dedicate this OSU Cowboy win to ESPN's Skip Bayless, he is a #1 Oklahomer!

Not this guy, I said in the pre season Oklahoma was over rated, after their loss people still said they were probably thr 3rd best team. I've felt all season that outside of LSU/Alabama that the top 13 teams could beat each other on any given night and or potentially lose an upset.

No team with one loss can say another team getting into the championship isn't fair. Especially if said team had a chance against #1 at home. If Alabama doesn't get in they will have no one to blame but themselves.

But Ok St. Statement game was at home against a team that's been proven to have been over rated..... So it goes both ways I think. I don't know how any one in their right mind can compare losses for Bama and Oklahoma St and not say there is a huge difference. I will say this if it ends up being Oklahoma State vs LSU I will be led to believe that the decision was based off ratings and $.

Also I think it has been understated that OSU played Iowa State the day after the death of the Girls coach at their school. Maybe the players were not close but that has to do something to you mentally and emotionally. Bama is still better but I don't think OSU's loss was that bad.

Not to sound cold hearted, but to me that just doesn't sway me as a voter one way or the other.

IMO it still should be LSU vs Bama. Great job by Ok St tonight but you still lost to an unranked team that they should have stomp a mud hole in. Bama's loss to the #1 team in OT
