Oklahoma State 44 Oklahoma 10

But Ok St. Statement game was at home against a team that's been proven to have been over rated..... So it goes both ways I think. I don't know how any one in their right mind can compare losses for Bama and Oklahoma St and not say there is a huge difference. I will say this if it ends up being Oklahoma State vs LSU I will be led to believe that the decision was based off ratings and $.

Ratings and money is nearly always a commonality.....

Not to sound cold hearted, but to me that just doesn't sway me as a voter one way or the other.

I don't know if it would me either, but I do think it has to be mentioned. Until Musberger said it last night (he read my post on here ), I don't think I ever heard it mentioned.

Also I think it has been understated that OSU played Iowa State the day after the death of the Girls coach at their school. Maybe the players were not close but that has to do something to you mentally and emotionally. Bama is still better but I don't think OSU's loss was that bad.
Don't wanna compare tragedies here but Carson Tinker had his girlfriend pulled out of his arms by the Tornado, and we all saw the impact of the storm at out campus, my sister lost their homes too.

So your point is a good one, it hits home at both schools.

Horrible story, but its not like that happened the day of the game. That was before the season started. How is that going to effect his or the teams focus during the games?

Wouldn't sway me either.

How did it affect the team? Do we truly know? I know Gundy was affected, it was his good friend but Gundy isn't playing. How did it affect the players? Did it affect the players? I have a hard time believing they were thinking about the tragedy in the 4th quarter of a game that went to 2 OTs.

And that was a horrific tragedy. Second plane crash for OKState athletics in 10 years. Very very sad. I just don't like excuses. They still should have beaten a 6-6 Iowa State team. And because they didn't it cost them. I just don't think they should be put in the championship game because we feel sorry for them.
