He's never going to put up numbers, but he isn't turning the ball over, and is doing enough to win games. 3-1 since he took over, 3 road wins, and now has the Broncos within a game of 1st place in the AFC West. 1-4 before he took over.

 

 

And he still isn't better than Carson. Beat a real team. Not the Chiefs and Dolphins.

Winning on the road in the NFL is never an easy thing, just ask Baltimore, and he's done it 3 out of 3 thus far.

It looks as if every week the Bronco's organization is losing more and more faith in Tebow, almost to the point of it being strange like they do not want him to do well by not even giving him a chance to throw the ball. In a couple of situations this season when he was out of the gun in hurry-up mode he looked solid. They do not even attempt to throw the ball unless it is more than 3rd and 7. I have never seen anything like it. It is almost captivating to watch.

 

I think it is remarkable they have won considering who they are playing with. Not just the QB, but the WRs and always hurt RBs.

The Jets will be a much better test for Tebow on Thursday. I can't applaud a Tebow victory over the Dolphins and Chiefs.

I'd have to do some looking but my argument is that the answer has so many variables that my ORIGINAL point that you can't judge a QB's performance simply off of W/L stands.

You're simplifying it. You can't simply say W/L record means nothing for a QB because there are too many variables. "Know thy self" Tebow, like Dilfer, know themselves and what they do well. I didn't say W/L means "nothing." I said using it as a way to evaluate the play of a QB is not wise.

 

You are also incorrect IMO in your assumption that Tebow "knows thyself." It wasn't his call to pass only 8 times. Fox "knows Tebow" and decided that the best chance his team had to win was to let the defense carry them and not give Tebow many chances to screw up.

Nobody knows how Tebow will pan out. What we do know is that he's won games as a starter thus far. People can't wait to throw him under the bus. I see oh we'll see how he does when he plays the Jets. I challenge that! Who would you put your house on the line for? Tebow w Greene,Holmes,Plax,LT,Keller+Jets D or Sanchez w Ball,Decker,Thomas,Royal+the Broncos D? Tebow is winning on an awful team talent wise!
