Hear the Cougars come home to play Anderson Co. now. Hopefully they can keep that offensive cranking.

Wonder when was the last time a team had 4 guys with 100+ on the ground?

Can the Cougars stay at home now until they get to Bowling Green?

Hmmmmmmmmm 84 points and not one accusation about running up the score ? What's up with that ? Did Conner have their 1st team in the whole game ? After all , Highlands hangs 60 on somebody with the third team playing ,in the second quarter and people are going crazy.

Nice win for the Cougars !!!!

Yes

Heard they had it on the 2 at games end and kneeled, could have been a hundred??

Shame for FC still can not get into third round, a ton of talent and to end like this has to be hard pill to swallow.

I know Conner broke the single game state rushing record. Was the 84 a state record as well for a playoff game?

A 16-point TD?

A 16-point TD?

:thumb: Throw in a field goal , that's at least worth 6pts , right ? :lol::lol:

Ask the coaching staff of Connor about the talent level of Franklin Co. I didn't say they had Superman playing for them.

Im just saying...it had to have all been on offense for Franklin because if they have talent on Defense and gave up 84 points to Conner....not Trinity or Highlands...its Conner than thats scary. No Disrespect to Conner but wasnt this game supposed to be pretty even.

Franklin County is a very good team team. Their skill positions are extremely talented and would win the majority of teams they face. The have to play the teams in their district, which is a 6 team district. So 1/2 of their games are manditory.

Conner just stepped it up and played to their potential. Keep improving every week.

They need to put some athletes on the defensive side of the ball....84 points at home cant happen if you are going to say FC is a very good team....very good teams play both sides of the ball.

As bad as it was, 1 game doesn't describe a whole season. The Flyers were awesome this year, so don't take away the whole season for these kids. The Flyers probably over looked Conner, and the coaches were telling them all week not to. They are kids, and in a position they had never been. It showed too. To go from the 1-9 era of Coach Aaron Stepp just 2 years ago to where this program is now, is amazing. Hey guys, Conner played a very hard nosed game and deserved the win. They are very well coached and never let up. Congrats to them and good luck. Flyers keep your head up and get back in the weightroom and get to work and keep building. It was a heck of a ride. Go Flyers!

This game tells me that they never faced a really strong offense that forced them to get out of what they do. Conner gave an early punch to the mouth and it forced FC to change their strategy. When they had to pass they couldn't.

Hats off to Coach Trosper, Delph, Helmig, and the rest of the staff.
