I don't remember any long kick returns. They only had started a possession in HHS territory twice.

Aside from Elder which had some questionable calls, not as bad as this past week's crew but bad, Cov Cath was the closest game for Birds all season. So many people say they're tired of blowouts but I'm fine with it. Those close ones give me bubble guts! I just know I never want to feel the sickness I felt after Jeremy Madden and the Colonels broke our hearts in the mud bowl.

There was a note in the paper about the Conner / Franklin County game (HHS/CCH is not even going to score that many; the defenses are better than that). The record for most points in a game is 149 by Louisville Male. That is just Male's points. :eek: I don't know what the other team score. The paper said there have been several playoff games where the winning team scored 100 or more. And all that was before 6 class football. How about that? :lol:

Not only would it be ironic but highly improbable... the decent weather (40s @ kickoff and no rain) will likely help the offenses. If either side puts the ball on the ground like last game it may dampen the offensive firepower of both HHS and CCH.

Horst heard channel 12 might need another weather person. I think you will see some adjustments by Birds defense this time around.

This game goes one of two very different ways. I predict either Highlands by 35 or CCH by 2. Maybe not fair to take two positions on a prediction thread, but I see it going one way or the other here.
