the CCH line did not double team him ever. They combo block completely different then a true double. The Center Max Halpin Owned bruns get use to it

 

We must have been at different games. Bruns was consistently able to get in between the center & either guard and plug that gap, but CCH did a nice job of bouncing outside when that happened, some by design, some nice running. CCH's O-line & HHS's D-line both played well, but HHS' D didn't perform as a unit as well as they have the potential to. I think you'll see them live up to that potential this time around. Weinrich's ability to make successful adjustments has been proven time & again, and I don't expect this Friday to be any different.

I've heard about all these turnovers but for the life of me I can only remember 2 by HHS and 1 by CCH. I also recall some nice returns by the Colonels. Lots for both teams to be working on and we all know they are.

 

What I do remember is CCH putting the ball on the ground a good 3 or 4 times, but being able to recover it each time. HHS recovers half of those and.....

Never said anything of the sort. Just responding to a comment that Bruns was dominated by the CCH center. Plenty of respect for your O-line from me.

Are you sure, or just trying to keep the CovCath fans from, say, Louisville from having his dad buy tickets early? If I show up and get laughed at by the HHS basketball coach for trying to buy a ticket at the gate, I'm going to be angry with you.

I don't like that mentality. Use it as motivation, but play to win the game. I wouldn't want to be a CCH linebacker trying to lay the wood to a kid and end up whiffing or not wrapping up.

 

Side note, I still haven't read the article, but it sounds a lot like what CovCath's phenom RB said about Highlands back in ot six.

No, I'm not sure but there has only been maybe 2/3 games ever that i know of that have been sold out. The Elder game was sold out but really wasn't. I think Moeller and maybe one other CCH game was. Like I said, I hope it is because of the great atmosphere it brings, but I just don't see it. But I will tell you, I will be getting mine tomorrow.

Agreed that it won't be a sellout. But if you buy early, you avoid the long ticket lines that are likely to exist on Friday night in the Fort. That, of course, follows the long wait to find a parking spot near David Cecil Memorial Stadium.

 

It will be fun to watch the battle in the trenches between the CCH O-line and the Birds D-line. In a repeat from September, HHS 42-37.
