That's funny.

Yeah you know if it were my team (and it very well could be many years) I think finishing 5th you should just end the season......Why is the KHSAA doing this? Just give seed 1 a bye.

How hard would it be to swallow being THE ONLY team in 6A not to make the playoffs. If there's only going to be 32 teams in this classification then everyone needs to make the playoffs. There was no geographically plausible way to make 8 4 team districts so thios is what we get. Not a whole lot of difference between this and a 4 seed, in fact I would say SK is likely better then the 3 seed ahead of them in this scenario and at least 2 of the other 4 seeds. (Muhlenberg Co. and Southern).

I think it should be a close contest all the way up to the coin toss.

Trinity Shamrocks

Playoff Appearances: 42

Record: 115-21

State Championships: 20

Simon Kenton Pioneers

Playoff Appearances: 8

Record: 9-7

Past Playoff Meetings

2001 - Trinity 60 Simon Kenton 0

2005 - Trinity 52 Simon Kenton 0

2008 - Trinity 48 Simon Kenton 0

Has anybody put 100 points on a team this year? I think this might be the game where it happens...

All Tell I understand that and in fact I would venture to guess Simon is better than perhaps 10-12 of the teams that make the playoffs. Unfortunately the lot you are given as the "worst team" in this district is to get conceivably year in and year out one of the top teams in the state if not Trinity then St. X.

Zzzzzzzzzzz

Hey uk#1 ...how many fans will SK bring Friday night? Isn't there a bingo or fish fry in NKY Friday night that will be a better option than having to witness this?

I believe that Trinity would do anything reasonable to not let this happen. It doesn't look good for anyone to score 100 points, no matter what the situation.

I do not think we will let that happen either. Hopefully all will get to play......and who knows. ON paper should not be a game........but..................

AS an aside..........IMHO one of the best games last week was Iroquois vs. Atherton = Triple Overtime.....win by 1- as I recall.............
