I did, lets be real here Carson is a huge upgrade from Jason Campbell and Kyle Boller. :lol: However dude has been out of football basically for a year. I expect it to be very sloppy with Oakland barely getting the job done.

This situation sets up pretty well for Palmer. He plays in a mediocre division, w/ a coach that he is close to. The offense is run based, so he will not have to win games w/ his arm. His defense is having a terrible year against the pass, but isn't putrid. All he has to do is keep the chains moving. However, name 2 wide receivers for the Raiders... who is he going to throw to on third and medium to get the crucial firsts that sustain drives?

I'm sure losing the deep threat of Chris Henry probably played a factor, but always watchin him play I felt like he wasn't exactly the same after knee surgery. Having had ACL surgery now myself, I can fully understand why he would feel that way.

Not that I condone this behavior but it kind of comes with the territory sadly. Surprised you didn't hear about it last December. You asked how it was personal, I told you. It was a little more than "saying something bad about him to his wife." He said they can say anything they want about him, it comes with the territory. He became upset when they said things to/about his wife and kids. That's sick. Quickest way to have someone leave is bring their wife and kids into play. I'm sure you would stick it out in his position with your family and home being accosted. If I could afford it I'd have done the same thing.

Which Carson admitted the reason why he left was a selfish reason. Maybe it had to do with his wife, maybe it had to do with stuff with the team. Who knows, he has never actually said and I doubt he ever will. One thing is for sure, there is something that definitely made him want out. Especially considering Cincy had good young talent to work with, yet he still wanted out and was willing to take a pay cut to do that.

Honestly I don't really care bout any of that. He quit on HIS team period. He was here a few years when he signed his extension. He knew what he was getting into. I'm sorry if people yelled bad things at his wife and threw trash on his yard, he's a celebrity get over it, people are crazy and do crazy things. People in NY and Boston deal with things worse than that.
