I guess we need to start talking about who could be the next coach.

Can the Camels hang with the Rocks??? If we were going to compare scores would T be able to beat Dixie any worse than CC just did?

More proof pre season polls mean nothing. Conner was pre season number 1 in basketball last year and finished below .500...

I was at the game - P A T H E T I C - no excuse for that type of effort especially from the coaching staff. I got a novel idea....4th and one - everybody knows the QB is going to sneak it - but how about from under center instead of 5 yards back. For goodness sakes your QB has great size - take advantage of it! Here is another novel idea - How about playing man on the outside and bring your safety down in the box to stop the run or maybe blitz the crap out of them but making sure all gaps are covered. How about calling a time-out and chewing butt when needed or to stop momentum! CCHS wanted it more plain and simple - sad to say but Dixie was out-coached and out-played tonight. On a positive note - the QB for Dixie threw the ball VERY well tonight - and basketball season is right around the corner!

I agree Coach is a good dude - but you are right it would be a huge mistake to promote from within' - fresh blood and system is much needed!

Just watching him coach he looks burned out. Almost like he has no control. I think there is more to the situtation.....

This win gives the camels some steam now. Coach Lickert just needs to build off this win and finish strong and take the momentum into the playoffs. I just think this win propels Campbell no matter how bad Dixie is right now.

At no point, in your rambling incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. Even though I'm happy that Campbell won, this has got to be devistating for the players, fans, and supporters of Dixie and I can definitely empathize with them. Going through the ups and downs (mostly downs) with my old high school team Dayton, I can definitely understand. Dayton was down during many seasons, but things were pretty good when I played. I was a sophomore when we made the playoffs for the first time since the early 70's in '93 and things stayed good for a few seasons after I graduated. After that, there has basically been one good season, which ironically was the season after Coach Lickert left for Holmes.

So happy for these kids of Campbell County they played their butts off and challenged themselves on every play of the game. They were flying to the ball and this has not been there in the previous games.

Congrats to the Camels. I know Dixie has had it's issues on defense but how in the world did they yield 500 yards on the ground?
