I agree. I don't see 3 in a row. What I was saying is that NewCath has taken its program to a different level as well. The last time they played was arguably Highlands greatest team v. NewCath's worst.

No argument, Brady is a great athlete. The quote was, 'best player, by far, in Northern Kentucky." Brady is not the best player in Northern Kentucky. He is not the best player at his position in Northern Kentucky. He is one of the top five players in Northern Kentucky.

 

The thing that stands out for me in the quote is 'by far'. That right there is one big bite of the apple.

Maybe Coach Eviston should have said best overall player inwhich I agree with. Top 3 as QB, would be a top 3 running back and is the best defensive back in No. KY when he plays it.

Regardless of what was done or said, I don't believe that Coach Schneider was scared of playing Highlands regardless of losing or winning. I have strong doubts that Coach Eviston will be; I wouldn't be surprised to see this game happening within the next couple of seasons.

If you are that big of a Highland fan ask him" maybe you don't know him are you are scared to ask him you move on.

 

Ok so I am not a big Highlands fan (if that is what your opinion is based on), I don't call Dale Mueller and ask him what he said to someone at some NCC- Highlands basketball game that may or may not be true about Highlands and NCC in football ... Going back to what a poster said in an earlier post, I dont think this game could really benefit Highlands, they are supposed to win. The enrollment is much larger for Highlands, ie more boys. NCC might not want to play because it is likely that they will lose.

 

Beyond that, I wish they would play. When I was in High School the NCC players talked like they could beat us and it was frustrating not being able to play them.

From a competition standpoint, (considering that compition is good for your teem) both teems would have benifited more from playing each other than the last game they played or the next two games. Though the district games are a necessity. Wanting them to play though is kind of like me wanting a date with Angela Jolie, it just probably wouldn't work out for either one of us.

Ok well why was that so hard to say? If he did say that (Not calling you are liar, I just wasn't there to hear myself) it wouldn't surprise me. I dont really know how the other sports are at Highlands, I know baseball has never been great, basketball has been ok with some really good years, and the soccer team has gotten better. I heard the other day that the track team has been down a lot the past few years, and I have no idea about Cross Country. Football is defiantly king at Highlands, and why shouldn't it be? 4 straight state championships while playing up 2 classes including national attention, what kid wouldn't want to be a part of that?
