Agreed! They play a very tough schedule that prepares them for a state run, but are no match for Highlands at this time.

 

I think they're more of a match than anyone else except CovCath in NKY right now. I'd like to see this rivalry renewed. Always looked forward to it back in the day. Now I can't imagine what the Birds would do with Campbell Co. or SK after watching that match up last night!

2-platoon football at HHS has not come in to play until the last few years. That has no bearing as to why NCC will not play HHS. Word is, that current coaching staff will play HHS, but as long as Schneider is around the program, that will not happen.

 

Word is??? Inside source?? Eddie grew up in Ft Thomas, and trust me, nobody loves this rivalry more than him. This isnt about Mr. Schneider and doing homage. He would tell Eddie to do what he feels best for the program. Eddie is smarter than you and I combined, he knows where he wants to take NewCath.

The small schools cannot play two platoon football at the level required to beat a football big boy!!! This years HHS team would beat any small school in NKY by 3 TDS at least.

 

This two platoon talk is nice, and a great idea to get more kids significant minutes but... I have watched a lot of games on ESPN w national powers going both ways. I don't buy completely into it. It depends on individual players. Some can, some cant.

I agree...I've seen several guys go both ways and handle it, if not excel! There are advantages to both, but if you have an exceptional athlete I say do it...JMO

I don't disagree with most of what you say except I don't think a HS kid deserves to be bashed on a public forum. I have done it before when I first joined and I was wrong. I certainly think criticism is fine but bashing no way.

I agree, whatever the kid did, some ADULTS won't let it go! Any thread about Dixie ends up in adults bashing him. Whatever the kid did can be chalked up as "he is a KID/TEEN", What are these adults excuses?

Now they have more girls than boys and the total is 395.

There are probably 1 or 2 schools in NKY who would play Highlands voluntarly and you call Dixie out, who have played Highlands probably as many if not more times than anyone. Why not call out the Highlands alum who avoids them at all cost be it changing jobs or classification to do so. You make a point to bash Dixie whenever you get the chance. What gives can't you support the program you have adopted without bashing on someone elses?

This was a very good decision by Dixie....sometimes you have to send the nagging wife packing.

It is a bash because anyone who has ever read you post can see the intent of the title of the thread you bash Tom Spritzky for everything he does, it is clear you feel he wronged you in some way and have it out for him. Not crying just pointing out your extreme negativity towards Dixie and as a Dixie supporter I get sick of hearing people who simply hate the programs or coaches and bash them for everything they do. You can support your program without bashing others. If the truth hurts I am sorry!!!!!
