My son is a recent UK grad and has season tickets. There is no one more loyal than him.

He left in the 3rd quarter.

This the first UK game I've gone to in a few years. The people who invited me said that the parking lot area where they tailgate was not even close to the number of vehicles usually there. It was about half full. The crowd was down and many were leaving just after the 2nd half started. The attendance will get worse imo. It was a very blue Big Blue fan base last night.

I was at the game too, atmosphere was nothing like the last few seasons.

Much closer than I would have thought but still the now 1/4 century extra bye week for Florida.

As for Florida, who knows if we ever beat them. I know UT has that long streak against us too, but at least we actually play them close and have a shot. When it comes to Florida though we don't even come close.
I agree but the one and only reason/reasons that UK has played UT close a couple of times was that UT has been down by their standards and the rivalry. UT has the talent coming in now that it won't be very long at all untill they are right back towards the SEC top.

UK on the other hand seems to be satisfied with mediocre at the very best overall talent and never, ever to be above middle/lower level SEC football team. Doesn't matter who has coached, all UK football teams have never been above mediocre and in reality probably never will. There may be one to three football players on this roster that are SEC level talent. The better teams in this conference have 2nd and some 3rd teams that would run UK out of the stadium. Maybe UK could apply for the MAC in football, they might compete.

On a bighter note on this football season, Oct 14th/ Big Blue Madness and basketball season are on the way.

Went to the game, tailgated all day. There was zero energy. It was the worst tailgating atmosphere I have ever witnessed at a UK football game. The game started, and you can say the samething for the game, no energy. And I'm talking no energy from the players. With a team as good as Florida in town, you would have thought that the players would have been ampted. The best part of the night was watching an extra point sail over the nets. Then the ball got thrown about a quarter of the way around the stadium. Thrown up into the second level, then thrown out of the stadium from the second level.

All I know is this may have been the easiest money I have ever won. How did they only have Fla as a 19.5 PT favorite. Hate betting against the Cats but that was just too easy.

I waited all week just for this game to bet on UF and I got them at -17.5 too. Just begging us to take the cash here.

I totally disagree...the best part of the night was when the 2011-12 basketball team was introduced!:dancingpa

Actually, UK showed some moments of good play. Then they have moments (more unfortunately) where they are just horrible. There were many, many plays that you would disappointed to see in a JV football game, let alone a D1 game. The turnovers killed them. But when you watch the speed on Florida versus UK, there is an obvious and significant difference.

Honestly, they looked and played better than I expected. And, that's the point. 48-10 was better than I expected. They might win one more game vs. Jacksonville State. Can't see them winning any conference games. Pretty sad considering the progress that Brooks had made with the program. Back to square one.

Despite all of this UK picked up two big commitments from kids that were there Saturday.
