Anyone have any details on this game? Is Ryle done after losing their fearless leader? This score surprises me.

Eh Ryle is going to have to find themselves without Elliott but I wish them the best. This has to be the weakest NKY 6A has been in nearly a decade.

I thought Ryle was in a lot more trouble than most people when they lost Elliott. I didn't see this kind of blowout coming though.

 

DeSales is usually very good, but they came in with a couple of losses to schools who aren't Ohio powers. One was a big (Division I) school, but the other I know nothing about (NewAlbany, I think).

 

I'd say this doesn't bode well for Ryle, and I think they're in for really rough sledding. But in the wicky wacky NKY 6A district, we'll have to wait and see.

DeSales can always run the ball. My guess is they didn't pass much last night. I'm not surprised by this score.

2005. Birds were on the wrong end of a couple of whoopins that year. They played them in Columbus the following year, losing in a much closer game, and finally got on the right side of the w/l column in 07. Desales is a good OH program.

Highlands only played DeSales twice... in 2005 and 2006, losing both games. Highlands beat Trotwood-Madison (Ohio) in 2007.
