I do remember him getting continually roasted by a rapper that I refuse to name because he used to be the greatest rapper ever and then he went Hollywood and lost his way. Unforgivable......that soft singing for the ladies used to be hardcore rapper. Unforgivable.

September 16, 201115 yr I didn't grow up in the '90s so my list will be a little more modern. No particular order: Eminem LL Cool J Lil Wayne (his last album sucks though) Outkast 2Pac Kanye West(A musical Genius) Kid Cuddi( my favorite) Wiz Khalifa (mix tapes and When I'm Gone) That's 8 I would say TI but he is inconsistent. I think Drake( Not his early stuff-'Up All Night' and 'I'm On One' are his best to date IMO) will progress as he gets older and if he stays with Young Money. Snoop but he is just...there. Busta Ryhmes would be considered. I'm not a fan of Jay Z. Never really got into his music-except for 99 problems-however there is no dispute what he has done for Hip Hop. I think I will like him as I get older.

Without Rakim, there isn't a lot of guys that you all have mentioned, truly one of the best lyricists of all time and really someone who changed the game. September 16, 201115 yr Author Rakim isn't on my list because it's my top ten rappers of all time. If I made a list of the top ten rappers ever it would look something like this...... 1. Jay-Z 2. Tupac 3. Notorious B.I.G. 4. Rakim 5. Eminem 6. NaS 7. KRS-One 8. Ice Cube 9. The rapper who could have been top 5 but he started singing to ladies instead of remaining hardcore 10. Kool G Rap probably should be in the top ten. I can handle Big Daddy Kane or Redman at ten also.
