Ice Cube I really really like Lil Wayne and Drake. I pretty much like everything they have made since I heard The Best I Ever Had. I just need another 2 years worth of music from them and then another 5-10 years to see if I still love it the same.

September 16, 201115 yr Author No Dre, Snoop, or 50? Not in my top 10. I like Snoop the person not Snoop the rapper. He has made some horrible albums and he peaked at Doggystyle, IMO. Dre isn't a rapper. He is a producer who raps songs that rappers write for him. Jay-Z wrote most of Dre's raps for The Chronic 2001. Dre is the greatest producer in the history of rap/hip hop. No one comes close to him and that isn't debatable. 50 is a good rapper but he is too gimmicky for my taste. I actually like The Game better than 50. My hip hop taste is heavily centered to East Coast rappers.
September 16, 201115 yr Ya and 50's a businessman.... Seriously, Dre's real talent and calling is producing. He isn't that great of a rapper. The Chronic was more or less Snoop's debut instead of Dre's.

As far as Snoop I'm not a huge fan of him or his music, he just seems too small to be at all intimidating as a gangasta rapper, where as someone like 50 I believe could take a bullet and still put you down.

September 16, 201115 yr Author There is a long list of rappers who wish they peaked at Doggystyle. Yes there is. Doggystyle was a great album and it's still fire today. Snoop may have the best debut album ever. There really was nowhere for him to go but down after that.
September 16, 201115 yr Author Before Lil' Wayne, I think Tupac was the best collaborator in rap/hip hop history. Every song he ever had a guest verse on became a much much better song. He added an energy to every song he had a guest verse on. Only Lil' Wayne comes close to duplicating that. That being said, I think Brooklyn's Finest by B.I.G. and Jay-Z may be the best collabo song ever.
