Teddy Bruschi's Comments on Ocho's tweet

Featured Replies

So then why is it a surprise to many that it is taking him some time to get acclimated in the offese?
How long does he need? Maybe that's the point. He's had the play book for 7+ weeks and he lines up wrong on the very first play. He's been in the league 11 years. I gather from most of the comments that either he isn't putting in the time or he's not very smart.

Exactly! Brady had never even hit the 400 yard mark in his career until this game. As amazing as Brady has been, he has never operated as well as he did this week.

I would say he was operating pretty well when he threw 50 TD's in 2007.

If you take Brady's 2007 and 2010 seasons, he has 86 TD and 12 Int. That's crazy.

Because they didn't know how big of an idiot 85 was. Bengals fans did.

How does Teddy know Chad isn't studying? Wasn't he known for sleeping at PBS so he could watch tape?

This is nothing more than the old guys sitting at the diner saying "back in the good ol' days blah blah blah."

That was a long time ago. Back when he was Chad Johnson.

Maybe both.

How many Superbowls did the Pats win with Randy Moss...maybe they need to stay away from the diva WR's.

Cheap shot...it wasn't Randy's fault they didn't win the Super Bowl that year. Plus, Randy was on the only team in NFL history to ever go 18-1.

I think it's safe to say if anything Chad isn't that smart. If he wasn't putting in the work I doubt Tom Brady would put up with it or take the high road when discussing Chad. Brady doesn't seem to be upset with Chad. Just Bruschi.

Say Bruschi is getting info from someone inside the organization. What if that someone is giving him wrong info? Why is the Boston media taking up for Chad and how is the Boston media not privy to this info?

I think we have a winner...

To be honest, I never thought Ocho was all of that great of a football player anyways. Is ther anyone who is really expecting him to 'shine' in New England?

Either way it goes, Bruschi over reacted big time. The one time in Ocho's life he is in awe of someone besides himself and he gets blasted for it. Doesn't seem right.

Whoa whoa whoa. Just blame it on Belichick not knowing the plays. Although how did they win those other 18 plays.

Loved Chad's response....pointed to his playbook and said, "I'll talk when I get this thing down. I love Tedy".

^He led the AFC in receiving yards for four consecutive seasons. I'd say that's getting it done.

I'll blame Mangini because I am sure if they would have videotaped the Giants practice they would have won.

Real talk....the Pats got complacent and thought they had it won before the game started. I distinctly remember Tom Brady laughing in the press conference in response to Plaxico Burress saying the Pats wouldn't score more than 17 points on them.

Chad is the best receiver I have ever seen at catching the sideline pass and getting both feet down in bounds. To me, Chad was at his best when he would go across the middle and catch passes. It seems like he did less and less of that as his career went on in Cincinnati. Chad has been a great receiver. A couple of really good years in New England could get him into the HOF.
