Is South Laurel still undefeated against teams from Kentucky? Can anyone in the state beat them??

 

Yes, no losses to Ky teams since last year's blowout loss to LexCath. They can be beaten, as tonight showed. But it's going to have to happen at Rupp or to someone not in the 13th.

 

Oh, and whatever happened to this freshman transfer you kept talking about earlier in this thread? Did he transfer back out again?

I believe they did do have a good shot, but so does Scott,Holmes,LexCath, and i think CovCath is the real-sleeper here.

Are they talented enough to win, absolutely, but they are by no means so over powering that it would be an easy task. I'll say yes they can if they have a little luck of their side. I say that because those little unlucky breaks have derailed many a favored team. :thumb:

Most definetly a sign of a true champion, Mason County really out played the Defending State Champs for three periods, But South Laurel prevailed and are still undefeated against Ky.teams!!!

Wright genrerally plays only 6-7 players unless up by more than 25 late in the game, so I don't see the added depth helping SL much this season. He might see the floor a little next season.
