I bet Henry Clay has something to say about the South Laurel repeat!!!

Henry Clay has a good team but will have a more difficult time getting out of their district and region (as tough as any in the State) than South Laurel. They need first to focus on those steps before talking about knocking off South Laurel.

Scott Co. and Holmes maybe, but there is no way Leslie is in any of these teams league. From what I've seen, Scott Co. has the best chance.

It's South Laurel, not Laurel Co..

I wonder how South Laurel will do against North College Hill, it will be great exposure and great expierience no matter what happens, they might just surprise the boys from Ohio.

There's a nice-looking ballplayer on the eighth-grade team who I've heard transferred over from Clay Co., but I'm not aware of anybody else. The only new person I saw for the varsity was Phillip Hibbard, a football player who is a project at best right now, and will mostly play JV.

 

South has an 8th grader who transferred from Clay and they also have another middle school player transfer in(I think from North Laurel)who is suppose to be a very good prospect. Success will draw kids to your program, it's just a fact of life. South has a better than average chance to repeat this year and they should challenge again next year as well. But after that, unless something else unexpected happens, they should come back to the pack.

It looks like South Laurel is favorite to win the State Championship again!!! I really don't think no one in the State can beat them!!!

The Cards will win it this year. Go Scott County!!!!!!! :fire: Red Heat!
