Unless they match up again, this could easily be the best game of the year. Matt and Bud proved that they're not just hype, they can play ball. When they couldn't hit they found someone who could, they didn't ball hog and they became roll players. I am so proud of them.

Do you agree with mandatory numbers of players per game? I feel that if you earn it you should get it. What about FG%, steals, and blocks? Haddix is still undeniably the MVP, win or lose. But congrats to Duane Fields, way to bring it home. See, I try to play fair.

Do you people hate Billy Hicks so much that you're happy that the young men who played hard all season are sitting home? Probably reading your posts about how glad you are that they're gone. I try to be an impatial fan, if there is such a thing. I cheer for my boys but I DO NOT degrade the others. And I bet most of you are grown men who's only dream was to play on a team like Scott County. Don't hate--Congratulate. My only beef is that Mackey didn't make All-Tournament team.

I liked Sunset Park for it's more hardtime story line. Imagine getting shot over a jacket and to top it all off, Carla from Cheers is your coach.

If you can keep Nochta from killing Novosel, Lexington Catholic has a HUGE chance of winning. Lots of no calls at Scott County last night, and not for the home team. A good rough game is sometimes need right before going into tournament play, as long as no one gets hurt that is.

You people are totally slipping on Scott County's Rodney Haddix. He's #1 BABY!!!

Personally and as a woman, I like the rough play. If high school basketball is indeed a stepping stone to college, let the boys become men and get ready to play college ball. If they play tougher ball then they won't be surprised when they take their first hack in college. As far as Scott County and Henry Clay it is really anybody's game. Scott County needs to develop some mental toughness, if they get down a few points they really get down. What they need to do is get down and dirty, go out there and hustle and play ball. Don't worry about the refs, the parents, or the opposing teams fans, JUST PLAY BALL!! Because that's what Henry Clay comes to do.

Now it's time for the lady fan to weigh in. It was overall a good game. The CCH fans were absolutely nuts. But they didn't get in Haddix or Mackey's heads as posted above. Haddix #23 had 26 pts 8rbs 3blks and Mackey#14 had 20pts 5rbs 3 asts. If thats getting into their head we need to pack them(CCH Fans) around with us. And the refs did suck!! On both ends. I was glad to leave the refs in the 8th and I'm glad were not in the 9th either. Coach Hicks does whine alot but he does it up 20 or down 10, so at least he's consistent. SC had major trouble with the zone, aside from that they played one heck of a game. And I agree that SC is beatable but I also don't see any undefeateds, SO everyone is beatable. And on a more positive note, if you're gonna lose, you might as well lose to a good team like SCOTT COUNTY.

I thought 11 was supposed to be a lucky number. Scott County can't buy a win a the road in the 11th. I just hope they can bet Sayre because that counts as two games in district. And how important is your district ranking?

Who wins? Scott County coming off of a decisive loss to Bryan Station will be a focused team but Henry Clay is no pushover.

When Scott County shoots 36% you can count on a loss and when Bryan Station shoots 55% count on a win. It was just Station's night, this could be the loss that ruffles SC's featthers just enough to get them to play TOGETHER. When they play as a team they will be hard to beat. They just need to shake this off and get ready for Henry Clay friday and Sayre saturday. All on the road. And it's time for Mackey(14pts, 6rbs last night) to prove he's not a hoax, can he score on the road the way he scores at home?
