Thank you for all the updates.

VERY tough loss for the Royals, but still plenty of basketball left to be played this year. No shame in losing on the road to the best team in the state, but frustrating when they had chances to maybe pull this one out.

Tip your hat to Scott Co for getting the win, IF both these teams make it to RUPP I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch.

You are welcome for the updates!

I think most will be shocked that this game was so close.

I think turnovers really hurt the game here. We had a lot of missed shots. A ton of threes that weren't executed well enough.

Mason County NEVER gave up the fight, and for being the big underdog here, 5 points isn't bad!!

I agree. The royals have shown why they are deserved the #3 ranking in the state.

The Royals represented the 10th well. :thumb: Congrats to Scott Co you deserve to be ranked #1 in the state.

From what I have heard I agree. I thought this wa suppost to be a slam dunk ? Looks like we did a great job>

You never want to lose, but not bad for a road game.

The Royals represented the 10th well. :thumb: Congrats to Scott Co you deserve to be ranked #1 in the state.

Royals could be #1 in the state if they would quit playing Scott as center!

At home games, Mason should also have their fans sit on both sides of the court so that the visiting team has to sit in the upper deck. That's what I call a real home floor advantage.

Very entertaining game. Mason County couldn't buy a basket or a free throw in the early going; falling behind 16-5 after the first quarter stop. Clawed back into it and kept it very close the whole way.

#2 (Walls?) had a real nice game for Scott County; hit lots of clutch free throws. I don't think we saw Mackey's best game, but he played well down the stretch. I thought the guy that hurt the Royals the most was #33, substitute center?.

Real nice second half for Middleton; Darius had a real good game; may have tried to do a little too much early, then seemed to settle down. What I really liked about this game was Brad Pawsat looking to score a little more. If Mason County gets 6-10 points from him every time out, they are much improved.

Great atmosphere in Georgetown and I thought that overall the Royals looked pretty daggone good against the top-ranked team in the Commonwealth on their home floor.

This is a game that I would have like to watch.

This was quite the highly anticipated matchup, sounds like it lived up to the billing. Was it a packed house?

Yes, the place was full. Good thing the fire marshall wasn't around.

First time at Scott County; I thought the facility was really nice. The Scott County pep band sounded very good; we appreciate them playing Mason County's fight song over and over.:D

I do wish the PA system was a little better. I watched two games and heard maybe ten words. Other than that, I was very impressed with the place.:thumb:

I've only been to the SC gym in the summer, never attended a regular season game. Very nice place, I'm sure there in G-town it makes them say "Oh what a feeling!"

How great is it to hear a band at a high school game? I love it, just makes the atmosphere so much better!!!

Congrats to Scott County on the W.Great showing for the Royals as they had plenty of chances to win this thing in the last 3 minutes but just couldn't get over the hump.Considering Scott County outrebounded Mason 43-28 and the differences in free throw shooting Mason played great .Very well could have been the best 2 teams in the state tonight and both left it all on the floor. As a fan you couldn't ask for more than this 2 top 5 teams and a FULL house. These 2 teams are going to be hard to beat by anyone when they play like they did tonight.

GO ROYALS

Maybe not as big a gap between #1 and #3 as some thought. Good job by both tonight it sounds!!
