Scott Co. 75 Bryan Station 56

Featured Replies

Who figured this. The last two games the Cardinals have really turned up the defense. Mackey had dunk that was so nasty that the Station fans even went crazy over. Mack was not on tonight. I hate to be the team that has to play the Defenders first round.

Scott has look tough this year and it they could be facing them defenders in the regional finals. Great job Cards.

This is one of those:confused: type scores. Is Scott County gearing up to make another run at a state title.....kind of looks that way.

The 11th region will be a dandy...

Scott Co. has to be the favorite, but I could see Bryan Station or Lex Cath putting up a strong challenge....

Ah the 11th region is a bore to me. Big flashly play doesnt feel like high school basketball.

What are you are talking about? The 11th region teams know how to play. Just solid good basketball.

Well, we had better adapt to that"big flashy play" pretty quickly. The 14th region winner will have to play the 11th champ in the first round of the state tournament. I saw Scott County play a few weeks ago....I don't see any team in the 14th coming within 35 points of them....maybe worse.:scared:

That's exactly the problem....it's not going to happen. Schools in Lexington, Richmond, and Georgetown has the plethora of talent to go through.

Im old fashioned myself - and like to see two teams struggle against each other - pull out all the stops to get their bucket. Not just run the length of the court and throw it down.

A lot of fans are turned on by this kind of game - but it bores me to death. Id much rather see two teams on a court in the mountains dull it out on the floor than two teams in Lexington do it in the air.

I heard Tubby was at the game. Dont know who he was looking at.

Really?!? Maybe Haddix and/or Walls?

I agree.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tubby was checking out Haddix.

Both Tubby and Scott Rigot were there.

Sorry to tell you but gone are the days of tiny shorts and peach baskets. As with all things in life we must evolve, it just hit the 11th region a little early. Go SC!!!
