July 28, 201115 yr I like the Haynesworth move by New England. If focused and motivated, he can be the most dominant lineman in the league...imagine putting that on the front with Wilfork and Warren. If it doesn't work, they'll cut their losses, which will be minor. Little risk, with big upside. And, even if he can't be as good as he was in Tennessee, he'll still be worth the cost. Haynesworth struggled in the 3-4 in Washington, not sure why he'll do any better in New England. If I remember correctly, he hates the 3-4. Still, NE got him for next to nothing...so it's worth a shot.

Technically a 3-4, but played very often like a 4-3, sort of like what Bellicheck disciple Saban does in college.
July 28, 201115 yr Author Chad dropping hints on twitter he's going to New England....:idunno: That is sure what it seems like. Reedy made a comment earlier that made me thing he was getting cut. I don't know if Chad is just being Chad or what.
July 28, 201115 yr Chad dropping hints on twitter he's going to New England....:idunno: Hmmm....this makes no sense to me. Why cut Chad when he is affordable and you have a new QB in the mix? He is still the number 1 target for Gradkowski or Dalton. Trading him would be ridiculous considering what you turned down from the Redskins a few years back. Plus, he knows the offense- it is not like you can get better on the market right now. The Bengals make some curious moves, IMO.

He would be making a lot of money to play part-time as a 3 tech for a 3-4 team. I would imagine he will move inside in 4 man schemes and play end most of the time. Big Vince occupies the NG position any how.

July 28, 201115 yr Yea it sounds like he is being traded to New England. As a Chad fan, I love it. He will light it up in NE. Under Belichek, he will be great on the field and more entertaining than ever off of it.
July 28, 201115 yr Is there one player now on the Bengals that you would pay to see? I know Chad and Palmer have been on the down side the last couple of years. But they were still names that some fans would pay to see. Or is this move being made to perhaps lure Palmer back?
July 28, 201115 yr Author Late round picks in 2012 and 2013 it says. Anyone think Carson comes back now?
July 28, 201115 yr New England becoming the Ellis Island land of liberty for former Bengals stars ... Dillon, Ocho ... Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
